The Position
Export Coordinator
Job Summary
Imerys has an immediate opportunity for an Export Coordinator to support the business by handling all transportation and logistics aspects of our international orders from our US plants to overseas customers. This is a full-time position in our North American Headquarters located in Roswell. We offer a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days work from home per week. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete export shipment process, including but not limited to drayage arrangement, which requires coordination with internal departments and external vendors (booking, document preparation, tracking and tracing) Book US export orders annually with ocean carriers via EDI or email Input booking details to ERP system and keep updated with numerous changes Work closely with ocean carrier operations and drayage dispatch on EQ (container or chassis) issues Complete SEDs and BL instructions timely Work with credit team, bank and customer service in creating bank drafts and BL consignment for LCsCompile shipment documents (CI, PL, etc from ERP and Ocean BL) and send to overseas customers Work with Customer Service, Logistics, Shipping, Production to keep up with load schedule changes (Rolled bookings) Audit ocean freight invoices before having AP group issue payment Maintain SOP (standard operating procedures) and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, and preferred routings/services/carriers.Coordinator may have additional responsibilities in accordance with supporting the team that are deemed necessary by manager On a monthly basis the coordinator may have to maintain key performance indicators that will track the carriers performance and internal order accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:

The Export Transportation Coordinator is responsible for managing the overall movement of export temperature controlled container loads from packinghouse origin to the various steamship lines port terminals utilized in Northern and Southern California.
* Works closely with the Sunkist Export Department and will communicate/schedule pickups with the many Sunkist packinghouses in California and Arizona accordingly.
