The Building Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems for the assigned properties. This includes maintaining a clean and safe working environment, conducting routine assessments, performing day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance, painting, and housekeeping.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform all plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks required for facility operation and maintenance.
+ Service and maintain HVAC equipment such as heating systems, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, fan coil units, VAVs, and air distribution systems.
+ Monitor and adjust mechanical and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal comfort within the building.
+ Conduct field inspections and perform necessary repairs or adjustments to maintain operational integrity.
+ Monitor building energy usage and support initiatives to improve efficiency.
+ Repair and maintain doors, ceilings, hand railings, floors, and other structural elements throughout the property.
+ Service plumbing fixtures such as toilets, urinals, flush valves, and lavatories.
+ Carry out scheduled maintenance tasks in line with building protocols and industry best practices.
