    Operate, maintain, and repair groundwater extraction, treatment, and recharge systems at the Bangor Base in Silverdale WA Responsibilities include day-to-day operations, maintenance, monitoring, and management of the groundwater remediation system. Training will be provided to work towards a Treatment Plant Operator status. **Responsibilities** + Provide periodic cleaning and maintenance of the air stripping tower, equalization tank, groundwater extraction wells, effluent discharge swale, and connecting piping. + Conduct routine maintenance such as hydro jetting underground piping, groundwater well development and cleaning, pressure washing, and cleaning/replacing filters. + Perform minor plumbing repairs, equipment lubrication, electrical, and SCADA troubleshooting. + Follow project plans to conduct tests and field investigations to gather data for environmental, engineering, and scientific personnel. + Maintain and calibrate multi-parameter meters, such as water quality and air quality meters. + Collect samples from groundwater wells, surface water, raw and processed water, industrial wastewater, or other sources. + Collect soil or sediment samples and ship them to laboratories. + Conduct inspections, review institutional controls, and maintain facilities, including impervious covers, vegetated areas, fencing, signage, and shoreline conditions. **Essential Skills** + 3+ years of experience in maintaining and repairing industrial systems with water pumps. + Eligibility for a Navy DBIDS badge for base access. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Preferred experience in HAZMAT or Wastewater operator related fields. + Preferred experience in environmental testing or science. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term position with substantial support from management and the client.
