We are seeking a well-qualified individual for the position as the Division's Survivability Department Manager.
Location: This position allows for remote work. However the ideal candidate would be local to a Leidos Gibbs & Cox office to attend meetings as needed. Office locations are : Arlington VA, Philadelphia PA, New York NY, New Orleans LA, Newport News VA, Houston TX.
The Survivability Department Manager is responsible for the technical and management needs of an engineering department with 20 plus engineers in multiple locations with a concentration in the following:
Vulnerability Analysis
Passive Protection
CBRN
Shock
System Restoration
Damage Control
Vibration
Electromagnetic Environmental Effects
The Survivability Department Manager must be able to maintain a properly staffed and trained organization that can competently service the organization's specialty engineering and design needs. This person must have demonstrated success in leading a team of engineering professionals in a matrixed, multi-project environment that provides “cradle to the grave” support from conceptual design through detail design and construction, test and trials, and to post-delivery support.The candidate will be responsible for ensuring staff create accurate products on time and within budget that align with a formal Quality Assurance program and must have ability to produce manhour and Basis of Estimates for future work.
The Survivability Department Manager must have experience in establishing engineering process development methodology, mentoring and training engineering staff, and establishing and monitoring high quality product development goals. This person must also have experience in the implementation and enhancement of the engineering environment using leading edge computer-aided engineering analysis, and management and development of tools and technologies.

Basic Qualifications
The Survivability Department Manager must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in maritime design and engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in a management role.
Experience at a U.S. Navy-oriented service's company is desired.
This individual should have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field with Professional Engineering Certification(s) and/or Licensure and Master's degree desired.
You must be a United States citizen with the ability to obtain Secret Clearance to qualify.

Ensures timely completion of annual performance appraisals; addresses colleague problems and issues related to their work or environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

4. The Legal Affairs Manager/Contracts Administrator supports corporate legal, compliance, and risk functions by managing a broad range of responsibilities including contracts development and administration, legal research, policy and process development and oversight, healthcare regulatory and compliance matters, and litigation support. QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will hold at least a bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare Administration or a related field with a minimum of four (4) years of progressive experience in managing corporate business legal affairs, including management of legal department operations, project management and contracts administration (negotiation, reviewing, drafting and lifecycle management). A Paralegal Certification or Contract Management Certification is preferred.

Serve as subject matter expert for Donor Services: Develop and sustain complete familiarity with all technical skills, departmental SOPs, quality policies and procedures, human resources policies and procedures, donor database, operator manuals, training plans and other materials utilized at We Are Blood, including whole blood, red cell, apheresis and special donations; Support staff in evaluating donor and patient qualification, as needed and per the rotating on-call schedule; Assist Clinical Services with autologous and directed/dedicated donor scheduling/ collections or coordinate collection and recruitment of rare or specially requested units from Hospital Services, Laboratory, hospitals and physicians; Participate in the rotating on-call schedule to receive and respond to website/email generated donor eligibility inquiries; Prepare and/ or assist with donor reentry documentation to update donor eligibility, assign deferral codes/dates and ensure that all donor deferral data is accurately recorded in the computer database as necessary; Support staff in technology/ procedure troubleshooting and routine maintenance of apheresis equipment; Evaluate all sources of donor information, ensure all donor data is accurately recorded in the computer databases, including manual data entry as necessary, audit and resolve any discrepancies between manual and computer donor records; Assist with donor reaction review and follow-up as necessary; Serve as liaison between donors and the Medical Director(s).
Administration of basic managerial functions: Oversee the day to day management of staff and collection operations; Ensure compliance with all applicable industry, federal and organizational guidelines, protocols, policies, and procedures, including timely and appropriate reporting of all Worker's Compensation exposures, illnesses, or injuries; Ensure thorough and effective communication and dissemination of information to donors, patients, coworkers, guests and contracted partners; Ensure department procedural documents are reviewed and updated in accordance with approved schedules; Partner with the Director of Fixed Site Operations to prepare and monitor adherence to the department's business plan and annual budget; make small departmental purchases as needed; Oversee staff to ensure a lean environment and attainment of We Are Blood goals; Ensure adequate operational stock and canteen supply levels are maintained; Review daily computer system reports to ensure regulatory compliance; Assist Mobile Operations Manager and Donor Services QC Coordinator in ensuring that all equipment is maintained, validated, and repaired as needed or as required by SOP; Communicate collection data with Community Engagement management to ensure that daily/weekly collection goals are met; Coordinate with other managers to ensure that days and hours of operation at all fixed site locations are supported.
Project management: Work with DS and QA management to establish, implement and validate new processes, protocols, procedures and technologies; Draft and revise apheresis and collections SOPs; Coordinate investigation and finalization of System Improvement Reports; Execute or delegate special projects and other duties as assigned. Ability to make priority determinations and work without direct supervision, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, using excellent time management skills to complete all assigned projects in a timely manner.

Skills, Education, & Experience:

2+ years of experience in an operations, administrative, or coordination role, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, education, or a service-based environment.
Experience supporting day-to-day operations, scheduling, staffing coordination, or administrative workflows.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
High attention to detail and follow-through, particularly when working with schedules, attendance, progressive discipline and documentation.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with families, staff, and internal teams.
Comfort using scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools; experience with healthcare or workforce systems is a plus.
Ability to follow established processes, policies, and compliance requirements consistently.
Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a hands-on, operational role.
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

This is a full-time restaurant management and supported employment role within an urban addictions treatment center serving those with substance use disorders and mental health conditions.
Selected individual will;
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures with respect to departmental operations, and quality & safe food handling.
Comply with state, federal and OSHA safety and sanitation regulations.
Supervises the day to day functions of the deli and monitors temperature of deli and bakery items.
Schedule service deli associates to ensure adequate coverage and service levels.
Provides training on department procedures, safe food handling and sanitation regulations.
Manages the daily activities of employees to improve sales performance, cooking, serving, packaging and operating counters.
Prepares work schedules, grows the food service program in the community and supports a team based environment.
Requirements:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hospitality or business.
Minimum one year of managerial experience.
Must have a valid City of Chicago Food Service Sanitation Manager Certification.
Must have retail management experience in the food service industry.
Must be at least 18 years of age due to equipment use and work environment.
