F45 created a Department of Defense (DoD) approved SkillBridge Fitness Internship Training Program that helps active duty service members convert their military experience into the fitness industry with F45…prior to being discharged from active duty service. If you are currently on active duty and looking to join our F45 SkillBridge Program, please submit your application to this F45 Military Host studio to be considered. Military Interns can be placed at F45 Military host studios for up to 6 months (180 days) at no cost to the host studio. The purpose of the internship is to train, educate, and prepare interns to be considered for employment at an F45 location upon completion of their internship. Upon completing the F45 SkillBridge Program, participants will be Certified Personal Trainers (CPTs) and will be considered for employment. Responsibilities
Interning/assisting with coaching and motivating members of the studio while leading them through predetermined workouts
Interning/assisting with conducting in person, goal-oriented consultations with all trial members
Interning/assisting while learning the knowledge and ability to correct exercise form to prevent injuries
Interning/assisting with promoting and selling F45 services in the studio, which assist in membership growth and retention
Interning/assisting with light service desk responsibilities
Interning/assisting with demonstrating and completing every exercise in the workouts with perfect form
Interning/assisting with giving regressions and progressions for all exercises
Interning/assisting with set up, break down, clean and store away equipment around studio floor before and/ or after classes
Interning/assisting with any/all day-to-day responsibilities determined by the studio owner(s), studio manager(s), head trainer(s), and coach(es) in order to deliver the worlds best workout
Qualifications
A US Military service member, currently on active duty
Actively working towards obtaining and completing their Fitness Certification, CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and AED Certification within the first eight weeks of their internship
Certifications
Within the first eight weeks, obtain a nationally accredited fitness certification (i.e. ISSA, NSA, ACE, ACSM, PTA Global, NASM, AFAA, etc.)
Within the first eight weeks, obtain a current CPR/First Aid/AED certification
Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Coordinates operational matters as building maintenance/repair, office equipment and purchasing. Maintains and develops relationships with vendors, including getting quotes.
Organizes, plans and attends department/program meetings, retreats, trainings and events, as required.
May assist with Human Resource related tasks including interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training and performance evaluations, processing paperwork and maintaining employee records.
Maintains databases such as the Network's Census system.
Processes and maintains payroll and invoices/account payables for all disciplines within the office or department. Investigates all discrepancies and resolves all payroll problems. Performs timekeeper responsibilities for assigned employees as required.
May act as central contact for disseminating information from departments, offices, states and regions
Performs other related duties and activities as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Program Assignments.

You will collaborate with your Regional Program Manager and other area mentors, as well as participate in ongoing professional development and leadership opportunities, provided by the organization at no-expense.
Assess Your Schools' Needs and Progress. You will research what health inequities the schools you serve are facing, and then measure your impact by completing a needs assessment, reporting, and tracking your work throughout your mentorship.
Manage Teens Make Health Happen Clubs. You will plan and implement the successful delivery of the HealthCorps' program, Teens Make Health Happen, committing to 8+ hours a week throughout the course of the academic year. Your commitment to this program will require you to be at your assigned school sites/campuses for 3-4 hours each week for instructional purposes. Share and Make Aware. You will host Café O Yea demonstrations at each of your sites monthly and support them with regional events. You will support and contribute to HealthCorps' social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) by sharing program highlights, stories of impact, and photos that will shine a bright light on your students.
Commit to the HealthCorps Mission. You will prioritize health and wellness daily and work to ensure that relevant, local health resources are accessible for all students and staff at your respective sites. Your spark to serve will leave a lasting, positive impact on your community.
Represent HealthCorps in Phoenix. You will be an embodiment and extension of our organization and our values, both inside and outside your sites. Your presence -- whether at your assigned sites or at an area-wide event -- will be an asset in outreach efforts that connect teens, staff, and community members to HealthCorps resources and materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
An undergraduate or graduate college student majoring, or interested, in public health, public policy, biology, nutrition, marketing, psychology, education, social work or other related fields.
In good academic standing with your university.
A commitment of 8+ hours each week to the mentorship for the entire academic year.
A self-expectation and strong desire to grow personally and professionally as a leader in the community, and as a speaker who is comfortable in learning and presenting on health-related topics to a teen audience.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel to assigned sites, which may include distances of up to 40 miles/ within the Phoenix area.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

HealthCorps will work with you and your university to provide college credit* for the mentorship.
*Depending on the specific requirements and guidelines of your university this may be in the form of college or course credit or practicum hours.
Professional Development:
You will receive ongoing training, professional development, and mentorship throughout your time in the mentorship program. You will gain direct experience in public health and the education system and have opportunities to network with community leaders in the field.
Stipend:
All mentors are eligible to receive up to $500 per semester per site, paid in four monthly installments, receiving $235 each month. Should a mentor increase their involvement by adding an additional school site, they are available to receive an additional $125 a month. This stipend is intended to help alleviate potential costs that you may incur from participating in the program. You may use these funds for whatever you feel you need it for (bus passes, gas, professional clothing, parking, meals while serving, etc.) and it will be distributed in monthly installments.

Sara-Director of Support Services-lives in West Contra Costa County with her partner and has raised four children. She enjoys walking, knitting, dancing, writing poetry, reading and Burning Man. Sara is an LCSW and holds a Doctorate in Education.
Bill-Director of Operations-lives in Central Contra Costa County with his partner and is involved in raising his godson. He enjoys reading, cooking/baking, meditation, hiking, and road trips around northern California. Bill is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Beth - Family Services Manager- lives in Central Contra Costa County with her family and enjoys family time, music, cooking, and photography. Beth is a Licensed Psychologist (PhD Clinical Psychology).

The role is significant and requires an individual who can anticipate needs, has excellent follow through and can positively handle many different and diverse responsibilities effectively and efficiently with a positive and “can do” attitude.
The Mental Health Associate/Intern will provide on-site mental health services to formerly homeless children and their families living in permanent supportive housing in Pleasant Hill. The position can be part or full-time depending on your needs. Individual supervision, group supervision and training are all provided. Associates provide services in an on-site play therapy room, in family homes and in the community. Some evening and occasional weekend hours will be required.
Applicants of diverse backgrounds who have experience working with low-income families with multiple challenges are encouraged to apply. Applicants with competency working with culturally diverse populations are strongly desired.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Support formerly homeless children to reach their full potential (75%)
:
Provide milieu-based mental health services to
individual children
living in permanent supportive housing who are experiencing emotional challenges. Many of these children may be receiving EPSDT (Early and Periodic Screening Diagnosis and Treatment) services.
Provide on-site individual and group mental health therapeutic services to children.
Assist in delivering on-site parenting support groups to families.
Collaborate with case managers and the youth enrichment coordinator to provide support for individual children and their families, using a team approach. Assist with staff supervision of volunteer programs and community activities delivered to families served by CCIH. These may include evening and occasional weekend commitments.
Work with other staff members to provide community resources for families and individuals, such as social and health related activities, life-skills and employment support, and youth enrichment.
Stay on top of the paperwork and administrative details to keep the program running (15%)
:
Complete accurate and timely EPSDT chart notes for all services provided to children who are assigned under this contract.
Meet individual EPSDT contract goals for hourly billing, including averaging a minimum of 10 - 12 hours per week (depending on work schedule) of direct service to clients who are assigned under this contract.
Assist the services team with appropriate clinical documentation, including progress notes, service delivery documentation, reports, and forms.
Continuously improve your skills and work with team members and community partners to provide excellent services (10%)
Participate in weekly group and individual supervision, using that time to work on developing therapeutic skills and clinical knowledge, as well as exploring growth opportunities as a mental health provider.
Participate in clinical training as possible/needed.
Represent CCIH in a professional manner in all circumstances.
Maintain awareness of culturally diverse consumer populations and perform duties in a culturally competent manner.
Attend all required meetings, including but not limited to: CCIH staff meetings, Internal team meetings, and linkage meetings with other agencies.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.
Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an intern working toward licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
Experience with low-income and disenfranchised populations desired.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Computer proficiency in the use of Microsoft, and database applications.
Must pass LiveScan screening and TB test.

Ability to walk up and down stairs and up to ½ mile at any one time.
Ability to sit for up to 2 hours without a break.
