Welds are checked for durability as well as meeting specified standards and equipment must be examined to determine if repairs or new equipment is needed. · Assist maintenance on servicing welding machines as needed · Build material samples as requested Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Ability to manage multiple tasks within a tight timeline · Ability to interpret blueprints. · Must be able to perform the following welding process: MIG- FLUX CORE will be a plus · Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) will be a plus · Ability to be at work every day, on-time as scheduled and complete the entire scheduled shift · Able to work 12 hrs. shift · Able to move/lift to 60 lbs. · Ability to work in an environment that is often loud, dusty, and experience extreme temperatures Education/Experience: · High School Diploma, or GED · Minimum of 6 months of welding · Production/Manufacturing environment experience is a plus. 1st shift 5:00 am to 3:30 pm or 2nd shift 3:00 pm to 1:30 am 40 with OT as require by production needs

Job DescriptionSalary: Fabricator/Welder will use various techniques to cut, shape, and assemble raw steel into pre-defined structures according to blueprints, must be proficient in interpreting shop Drawings for Construction of all types of structures. Utilizing tools like cutting torches, welding machines, and other metalworking equipment to create the necessary components and assemble them into the final structure, requiring strong mechanical skills, above average knowledge of welding techniques. Ability to work alone and with team members. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Lift or carry at least 50lbs Knowledge of AISC quality standards, Safety certifications, Forklift certifications a Plus but not required.
