We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team at Gaul Granite & Marble. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in the production of granite countertops and stone surfaces. Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate granite countertops and stone surfaces according to detailed specifications and measurements.
Operate and maintain various fabrication machinery and tools, including saws, polishers, and routers.
Safely handle and move heavy granite slabs and stones.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of the finished products, including edge profiling and polishing.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

The SUB AIT program supports the In-Service Attack Submarines Program Office (PMS 392) under Program Executive Office Attack Submarines (PEO SSN) to achieve optimal submarine operational readiness by providing /production support, component repairs and technical support to accomplish repair, maintenance, removal/installation, troubleshooting and associated testing for Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) submarine maintenance availabilities.
The efforts associated with this program will help restore and maintain the material condition and modernization of the fast attack submarines of the United State Navy.
**Welder Tasks**
+ Perform structural welding of deck structures, support braces, foundations, or hangers using one of a number of processes such as shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) or gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) onboard submarines, in buildings and in the field.
+ Prepare finished welds by hand grinding or burring to meet visual acceptance standards.
+ Set up and operate stud welding equipment as needed onboard submarines, in buildings and in the field.
+ Install hot work protection and/or build weld containments for fire prevention.
+ Perform firewatch duties during welding operations.
**Requirements**
+ 2+ years' experience performing repair work on nuclear submarines within the trade they are being assigned.
+ HS/GED
+ Must be US Citizen.
+ Confidential Security Clearance or higher level required.
Personnel shall have at least 2+ years' experience performing repair work on nuclear submarines within the trade they are being assigned.
Personnel shall have DOW type "final" security clearance (DISCO authority with a minimum of a confidential clearance status).
At a minimum, all personnel shall be United States citizens and shall possess a final favorable adjudicated tier 3 investigation. Contractor personnel must have a Department of War Personnel Security Clearance (PCL) at the confidential level or higher.
**Welder Skill Requirements**
At least 2 years of experience welding in a heavy industrial work environment such as ship building, power plant construction, commercial building construction or bridge construction.
Qualified per Technical Publication S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248 with the following essential elements:
Welder Qualification record verifying tests performed in three positions. Alternatively, the welder tests may be performed in the 6G position (from TP-248) provided the test is performed using a singular weld process. No dual process qualifications will be accepted. The welder qualification test record shall include at least the following information:
Welder Identification (Full Name at a minimum)
Date of test
Qualification Test thickness - test assembly thickness .375" or higher
Qualification test process (SMAW, GTAW, or GMAW as applicable)
Qualification test position (2G, 3G, 4G, or 6G)
Qualification test base material type
Qualification test filler material type and size
Qualification test results
Certifying signature (fabricator, test administrator or quality assurance officer attesting to test conditions and results)
The welder qualification test shall be performed as follows:
+ The qualification testing shall have been performed with an approved Butt weld joint design from MIL-STD 22
+ The filler material to be used during testing shall be MIL-9018-M, 10018M, 10718M, 11018M, 12018M or 14018M for the SMAW process
The filler material to be used during testing shall be MIL-100S-1, 100S-2, 120S-1, or 140S-2 for the GTAW or GMAW process.
The Qualification Test shall be evaluated IAW with the requirements contained in S9074-A-GIB018/248 (performed IAW T9074-AS-GIB-010/271, (TP 271) evaluated to class 1 requirements of MIL-STD 2035). Qualification tests shall be evaluated visually and by Radiography, ultrasonically, or by bend testing.
The qualification shall have been maintained by actual use of the welding process quarterly (evidence of maintenance for process use shall be maintained for the current and preceding quarter)
Jaeger J-1 or equivalent Annual Vision certification (glasses or no glasses)
Undergo training to self-identify and correct poor workmanship. This training is a 40-hour course that includes a written and practical examination. A grade of 80% or better is required on each to be considered passing.
Trained, qualified fit to wear respiratory protection devices IAW 29 CFR 1910.134 (Subpart I).

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $40.35 - $54.59. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Accomplish all tasks assigned by the Diving Supervisor. If assigned a task for which they do not consider them self qualified by either training or experience, they shall immediately inform the Diving Supervisor.
* Read, understand, and comply with all of Phoenix policies and with applicable government regulations as they relate to their qualifications or performance while engaging in diving operations.
* Maintain proficiency in welding and NDT procedures as directed by the Diving Supervisor. Perform all welding and NDT per applicable government and commercial requirements.
* Maintain all government and commercial weld qualifications in accordance with Phoenix, welding and qualification procedures, training, qualification maintenance, and related program data.

* Remain awake and in the vicinity of the decompression chamber for at least one hour following treatment or a hyperbaric exposure outside the no decompression limits.
* Know and observe the rules for flying after diving or traveling to altitudes higher than the dive site.
* Ensure their diving equipment has been correctly maintained, prepared, and tested before each dive. This requirement should never be delegated to others.
* Maintain a diver's logbook, which details all dives, medical examinations, courses taken, and personal equipment maintenance.

Read, understand, and comply with all of Phoenix policies and with applicable government regulations as they relate to their qualifications or performance while engaging in diving operations.
Maintain proficiency in welding and NDT procedures as directed by the Diving Supervisor. Perform all welding and NDT per applicable government and commercial requirements.
Maintain all government and commercial weld qualifications in accordance with Phoenix, welding and qualification procedures, training, qualification maintenance, and related program data.
Comply with regulations or instructions concerning the use, maintenance, repair, and testing of all diving equipment provided for the operation.
Report to the Diving Supervisor any recent medical treatment or illness so that a proper determination can be made concerning their fitness to dive.
Immediately report all symptoms or suspected symptoms as early and accurately as possible.
Report to the Diving Supervisor any defect or malfunction of the diving equipment provided for the diving operation.
Follow safe diving practice at all times during the diving operation whether on deck or in the water. Bring to the attention of the Diving Supervisor any questionable items. Be alert for the safety of others.
Assist in the training of new personnel or tenders.
Remain awake and in the vicinity of the decompression chamber for at least one hour following treatment or a hyperbaric exposure outside the no decompression limits.
Know and observe the rules for flying after diving or traveling to altitudes higher than the dive site.
Ensure their diving equipment has been correctly maintained, prepared, and tested before each dive. This requirement should never be delegated to others.
Maintain a diver's logbook, which details all dives, medical examinations, courses taken, and personal equipment maintenance.
Ensure their medical certificates are up to date and recorded in their logbook.
Present their logbook to the Diving Supervisor on every job.
Maintain current certification in first aid and CPR.
Complete administrative office duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of a professional diving school.
Minimum five years actual underwater-welding experience that can be substantiated by a letter of qualification from a diving company recognized by the industry as having acceptable wet-welding capability.
Must be a certified welder whose qualifications are current in accordance with the American Welding Society (AWS) specification D3.6, class A (dry weld) and class B (wet weld).
Significant physical effort required. Significant exposure to physical risk.
Ability to pass annual diving physical.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
Able and willing, to travel worldwide, on short notice for indefinite periods of time.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and physical, as required.
