A Fabricator is responsible for basic cutting, shaping, welding and grinding of metal to form tanks, vessels and their components according to blueprints and specifications, while adhering to quality standards. This position may have previous experience operating basic hand and power tools. Additionally, knowledge of painting, sandblasting, shipping, receiving and assembling of products may be required. Essential Job Functions * Operates mobile crane equipment with the capacity of less than 20,000 lbs. and directs the rigging and hoisting of equipment. * Sets up and operates machines to make production parts to standard shop blueprints. * Performs welding, grinding and cutting operations in all positions as determined by others.
