ESSENTIAL DUTIES: • Maintain safe work environment at all times. • Quickly and safely evaluate the needed steps necessary to finish the needed task. • Identify the materials and tooling needed to complete the needed task. • Cut, bend, punch, shape and weld metal to create the need part which may include anything from a bracket or bumper to an outrigger sub frame and larger. • Identify ways to improve safety, quality, and productivity in the fabrication process. • Correctly follow the Job instructions. • Communicate with employees in the fabrication department as well as other from departments. • Follow all company Operational Procedures and QC Standards. • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining shop and equipment. • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Fabrication Manager or any other manager. QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous fabrication experience. • Must be able to pass a welding certification test. • High school diploma or the equivalent. • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. • Must have your own tools • Excellent communication skills. • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. • Strong attendance record. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. • Must be self-sufficient and driven.
