Set up and operate welding machines, adjusting and regulating as needed to ensure high quality weldments.
Read and follow written job instructions, standardized procedures, blueprints, and diagrams.
Perform welding operations using fixtures and jigs on various components and assemblies.
Maintain quality standards and ownership of weldments, ensuring production meets daily requirements.
Participate in quality improvement efforts, scrap reduction, and team problem solving.
Execute daily 6S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) activities to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on welding equipment.
Collaborate in a team environment to achieve production goals and continuous improvement.
Adhere to all company safety standards and policies.
Willingly work overtime when necessary to meet production demands.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
A Welding Technology degree or Welding Technical diploma is highly desirable.
Experience:
At least 1-2 years of welding experience in a production setting required
Additional years of experience are welcomed and highly valued
Strong basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret blueprints required
Robotic welding experience is a strong plus
Pay will be dependent on skill level and experience
Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
Overtime: May be required on Fridays based on business needs

Required/Preferred Education/Training
Required:
Certificate or Associates Degree in Welding Technology

Required/Preferred Experience
- Must be able to demonstrate Welding ability/skill during assessment (interview)
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job
- FCAW groove welding to U.T Testing standards
- Perform Fillet weld tests with the following processes FCAW/GMAW-P to Visual Testing standards
- Knowledge of AWS Welding Symbols
- Welding equipment setup and operation
