MISSION: To repair castings to meet customer specifications by replacing metal in defective areas using various welding techniques. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Welding. Key Responsibilities: Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding on steel, aluminum, and other metals. Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy. Set up and adjust welding equipment, torches, and power tools for various applications. Fabricate, cut, and assemble metal components according to engineering and production requirements. Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity, making adjustments as needed. Operate grinders, plasma cutters, and other metalworking tools to prepare and finish welded parts. Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, and quality control teams to meet production goals. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience as a Welder in heavy equipment, structural, or industrial manufacturing. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and schematics. Experience working with structural steel, sheet metal, and industrial components. Knowledge of weld testing procedures, including visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT). Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various positions, including standing, kneeling, and overhead welding. Preferred Qualifications: Welding certification (AWS, ASME, or similar) preferred. Experience in heavy equipment or large-scale structural fabrication. Familiarity with robotic welding systems and CNC cutting machines is a plus. Why Join Us?
