JOB SUMMARY:
Face to Face Health and Counseling Service, Inc. is seeking a Medical Director to oversee the quality of medical care provided in our clinic. This part-time role (approximately 3 hours per week) ensures that clinical practices align with current medical standards and evidence-based best practices. This position is ideal for a retired medical professional who wishes to stay engaged in the field and make a meaningful impact, without the demands of a full-time commitment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Evaluate quality of care provided through clinic observation and periodic chart reviews
* Provide support and training to the clinic staff regarding best practices, medical protocols and coding
* Be available by phone for clinical consultation with providers during Face to Face clinic hours
* Act as Medical Laboratory Director and Clinical Consultant under CLIA guidelines and review laboratory manual annually
* Develop and annually review clinic protocols, practices, and guidelines in collaboration with the Clinic Operations Manager and Director of Healthcare Services
* Meet regularly with Director of Healthcare Services
* Provide dispensary management in collaboration with Clinic Operations Manager
* Supervise medical providers as need for licensure
* Provide direct patient care as necessary
* Assist with implementing organizational strategic plan goals as they relate to medical care
* Provides all services guided by the evidence-based principles for helping youth overcome homelessness; and
* Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current MD or CNP licensure required to practice in the State of Minnesota
* Current DEA license
* Board certified in Family Practice, Internal Medicine or OB/GYN preferred
* Experience in community health with emphasis on family medicine, sexual health and adolescent development preferred.
* Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds.

JOB SUMMARY:
This position provides direct clinical mental health services and intensive collateral support to youth who are in a drop-in, shelter or transitional housing environment, both at Face to Face and with partner organizations. This position works in partnership with shelter programs to support youth mental health needs through direct service and staff consultation and education. The position is full-time at 32 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide individual and group therapy for youth in drop-in, shelter and/or transitional housing programs.
Build relationships and develop rapport necessary to engage youth in mental health services.
Intervene appropriately in crisis situations and empower others with the skills to respond to crisis.
Establish healthy and appropriate physical and emotional boundaries with youth and their families.
Provide services in a cultural responsive and linguistically appropriate manner.
Provides all services guided by the evidence-based principles for helping youth overcome homelessness.
Collaborate with other staff and the community, the shelter team, other agencies, and collateral contacts.
Provide in-service trainings for shelter & drop-in staff related to various applicable mental health topics.
Participate in shelter & drop-in staff meetings to provide a mental health lens and clinical insight to situations, youth, and larger system needs.
Attend and participate in organizational staff meetings, team consultation and supervision as required.
Complete the Diagnostic Assessment, treatment plan, collateral documentation, and all required charting and insurance documentation in a timely manner consistent with DHS and billing requirements.
Meet grant-specific productivity standards/target as set by department manager and supervisor.
Keep up to date with current changes in the field through the use of supervision, appropriate conferences, training, in-services and reading.
Practice and uphold the ethical guidelines of your licensing board.
Uphold agency written policies concerning employment, client confidentiality, minor consent law, drug-free workplace, ethical standards and other policies of the agency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Licensed as LMFT, LICSW or LPCC in state of MN.
Minimum of 2 years' experience required working effectively with diverse children and families from the socio-economic and cultural groups represented in our community.
Maintain licensure or certification and stay current on continuing education requirements.
Ability to work independently, use time effectively, work under stress and intervene appropriately in crisis situations.
Proven experience successfully intervening in crisis situations.
Ability to successfully collaborate across agencies receiving services.
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds.

We do this work through a comprehensive approach that includes medical, mental health, housing, education and employment, youth justice, and community programs. We take a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to our work and center the needs of young people impacted by racism and other forms of oppression and marginalization. Founded in 1972, Face to Face serves more than 5,000 youth annually.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Medical Assistant - Clinical and Laboratory Support provides both clinical and laboratory services to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations. This position combines clinical and laboratory responsibilities, supporting both patients and the healthcare team. Key duties include rooming patients, collecting and processing specimens, performing laboratory procedures, and providing health education. The role also ensures lab safety, maintains inventory, and supports compliance with regulatory standards. This integrated position is essential to the smooth functioning of the clinic and contributes to a welcoming and effective care environment. This position also assists with tasks outside the direct responsibilities of the role when needed to ensure clinic operations. This is a part-time position at 27.5 hours a week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Laboratory Support
Perform phlebotomy, process and prepare blood and urine for in-house testing and lab send-outs.
Ensure medical staff adhere to the laboratory's quality control procedures, regulations, and documentation.
Act as the lead for monitoring and maintaining lab inventory, ordering and restocking supplies; assist with overall clinic inventory, ordering and restocking.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly quality control, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
Make appropriate decisions based on the quality control results regarding patient testing. Notify appropriate staff when problems occur.
Ensure timely communication of difficult or unusual requests, results, or test follow-up that is necessary to completion of the procedure.
Monitor and perform administrative functions to ensure accurate test ordering and reporting of patient results.
Monitor and perform specimen collection to ensure the accurate and appropriate performance of patient testing while maintaining patient dignity, comfort, and confidentiality.
Monitor and document in lab log reports to MDH untreated STI's using the state reporting form.
Communicate errors to immediate supervisor and document when errors are found.
Maintain knowledge of, and comply with, all relevant laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards.
Uphold medical clinic compliance with legislation and regulations related to health care clinics (HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, etc.).
Maintain effective working relationships with external agencies and partners to ensure ongoing compliance and support lab operations.
Manage the disposal of hazardous and nonhazardous waste.
Ensure the laboratory is clean and well organized.
Clinical Support
Provide clinical support to assure time sensitive and smooth clinic flow.
Assist with rooming and scheduling to determine preventive health or acute care visit.
Review patient's health history and presenting concerns/symptoms, and prepare them for exam or visit as indicated.
Utilize standing orders for appropriate care.
Administer medications as ordered by providers.
Record and monitor immunizations with MIIC.
Follow safe vaccine storage and the documentation process for the Minnesota Vaccine for Children program and UUAV.
Provide health education on variety of topics including preparation for gynecological exam, STI prevention and treatment, and family planning methods in a nondirective style of education.
Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records of patient's test results.
Clean and autoclave speculums and clinic instruments.
Clean and stock exam rooms with supplies daily.
Complete opening and closing procedures.
General
Work as a team member to monitor and improve patient flow.
Actively participate in creating and implementing improvements.
Provide all services guided by the evidence-based principles for helping youth overcome homelessness.
Step in and help “get the job done" to ensure clinic operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification by AAMA at time of employment or within 6 months of hire preferred.
Completion of an accredited medical assistance training program.
Minimum of one year of experience in providing patient care and laboratory services in a clinic setting.
Qualified to work in a highly complex laboratory as mandated in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA).
Prior lab experience and knowledge to work in all areas of the lab.
Strong computer skills and experience with electronic health records
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds.

Summary:
A Registered Respiratory Therapist provides advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. They independently assess, treat, and manage patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including those in intensive care units and emergency situations. RRTs work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver life-saving therapies and patient-centered care.
