Full Time - Full Time Maintenance Worker - Residential Facility

Granite Recovery Center is looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.

Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Job Functions:
Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues Install appliances and equipment Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation) Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check. Proven experience as assistant director or other similar position Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems Experience using hand and electrical tools Ability to read technical manuals and drawings Very good communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and dexterity Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
Salary Range:
Range generally starting between $18.00 - $24.00 an hour.

The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty and training.

PeaceHealth is seeking a Maintenance Engineer - Facilities for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position. Hourly compensation starts at $39.13, more depending on experience.

Performs a variety of skilled journeyman level general, mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks. Conducts inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment and facilities of the medical center and medical center owned facilities. May serve as a technical expert in HVAC operations, service, and repair.
Details of the position:

* Performs skilled repairs and operates plant equipment such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, air conditioners, fans, water systems and other fixed mechanical equipment. Ensures all HVAC work is in compliance with state hospital codes, EPA requirements, Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 70, NFPA 99 and all other applicable codes and standards.
* Operate building equipment and utility systems in a manner that will optimize the provision of a code compliant, safe, comfortable and healing environment for patients, visitors and staff.
* Respond to and resolve skilled facility installation and repair requests for electrical, plumbing and department equipment as assigned.
* Document work on computerized work orders in such a way as to provide accurate repair and preventive maintenance history.
* Requisition, order and use maintenance and repair parts in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
* Coordinate, oversee and ensure outside vendor service is properly completed and meets hospital standards for repair and maintenance as assigned.
* Maintain and continually enhance operation, maintenance and repair knowledge of hospital utility systems and components, non-medical equipment and other assigned fixtures and appliances.
* Respond to and resolve alarm or emergency situations involving utility systems, life safety systems and equipment, general facility equipment including all non-medical fixtures and appliances.
* Maintain knowledge of hospital disaster, fire and hazardous material emergency processes. Actively participate in drills and critiques as well as actual emergencies.

What I bring:

* High-school diploma or equivalent required.
* Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or a combination of skills, ability and experience required.
* Associate's degree in electrical or mechanical field of study preferred.
* Minimum three years' experience in facility maintenance required.
* Experience with industrial or commercial HVAC maintenance and/or service experience strongly preferred.
* Washington or Oregon State driver's license is required.
* Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

Our Facility Maintenance Repairs are located at our Aragonite facility in Dugway, UT are responsible for conducting maintenance on a variety of equipment. This position offers guaranteed 40 hours a week as well as the opportunity for overtime.

Company provided shuttle from surrounding areas: Magna, Salt Lake City, Tooele, and Grantsville.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Perform maintenance activities including, but not limited to, Pump rebuilds, Preventative Maintenance, Basic installations of pipe, and electric work.
• Perform basic repairs and up-keep in the Welding, Electrical, Pipe fitting, and Mechanical disciplines.
• Operates a forklift if required and trained.
• Ensures that work meets all applicable Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensures that work meets compliance standards within facility operation.
• Maintaining a clean work environment.
• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years' experience in preventative maintenance or basic installations of one or more of the following: Welding, Electrical, Pipe fitting, Mechanic.
• Demonstrates basic proficiency in welding, electrical, pipe fitting, mechanical knowledge.
