Job Details Under supervision of the Director of Facilities and Engineering or designee, the Maintenance Specialist is responsible for janitorial, mechanical, electrical, fire, etc. and monitoring alarm responses. The maintenance specialist makes general facility repairs and conducts routine tests /inspections on various facility systems such as the emergency generator, sprinklers, conveyors, and air compressors and performs preventative maintenance tasks. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements. Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. Will need to work four mandatory maintenance weekends a year (once per quarter). Works closely with Manager of Facilities and Engineering to maintain the overall efficiency of equipment in the facility. Performs routine maintenance repairs. Contact and schedule outside contract work and ensure work is completed according to contractual agreement and company expectations. Performs routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure continued productivity within the facility. Assists with performing building safety and security inspections including assigned OSHA inspections. Establishes and promotes the maintenance of a safe and accident free work environment. Performs monthly and biannual filter changes. Performs janitorial duties." Contacts building management group for issues with the facility. Assists with the installation and removal of equipment.
