Bemana is searching for a Generator Technician in the Springfield, OH area. Our client, a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience, is a trusted leader in generator service, sales, and rentals across the state of Ohio. As a Generator Technician, you'll be the front line of the operation-diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing standby generator systems. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll work at a set customer site in Springfield, OH. You will troubleshoot equipment, and keep critical power systems running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on standby generator systems (8kW-1mW). Troubleshoot, perform diagnostic and load-bank testing, and conduct generator start-ups. Prepare accurate repair quotes and complete/submitting work orders. Participate in an on-call rotating schedule to support customers. Maintain a strong safety focus and comply with OSHA 10 standards. Qualifications Background in electrical, mechanical, or engine systems (automotive, trucking, marine, or heavy equipment experience is highly relevant). Previous experience working on residential or commercial generators Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
