Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP seeks an Associate to join our retail and consumer banking team as part of the Global Financial Services Practice Group. Our retail and consumer banking team advises leading national banks, state banks, credit unions, payment service providers, and financial technology companies on cutting edge issues impacting retail and consumer banking, payments, blockchain/stables, payment cards, auto finance, residential mortgage, unsecured personal lending, and digital banking. The ideal candidate is experienced in prudential banking regulation, has strong drafting and contracting skills, and the motivation, ability, and confidence to develop on an accelerated basis.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to provide a full range of the highest-quality legal services to clients, including drafting, negotiating, and documenting complex commercial transactions for various retail and consumer banking lines of business. The successful candidate will also have a strong working knowledge of federal and state consumer banking and finance laws, rules, and regulations.
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
Possess a strong academic record; and

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver services to customer expectations with an emphasis on the quality of work
Pro-actively communicate with account leaders and customer stakeholders
Perform general building maintenance, including scheduled maintenance and break fix of building equipment
Light duty maintenance including lighting, carpentry, painting, deep cleaning, safety systems, and athletic facilities related tasks
Perform grounds maintenance duties (trimming, weeding, mowing, etc.) based on seasonal needs
Support athletic event set up activities based on seasonal needs
Enter, modify, and monitor tickets within the Work Order system
Work with account leaders to maintain the facility within the approved budgets
Assist the site-based facilities team with the total scope of work to ensure customer satisfaction
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mechanical aptitude and general carpentry skills

Facilities Maintenance Technician Necessary Skills:
Respond promptly to building alarms and maintenance calls, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electric motors, circuits, and associated electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair plumbing systems, including identifying and fixing leaks.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair dock doors and levelers to ensure optimal functionality.
Operate, monitor, and maintain utility systems to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical components, equipment, and systems.
Follow manufacturer's specifications and safety policies to ensure repairs and maintenance are performed to the highest standards.
Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols during maintenance activities.
Facilities Maintenance Technician Necessary Experience:
Basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics, including awareness of potential hazards.
Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, basic metalworking tools, and understanding the difference between metric and standard threads.
Experience performing work safely in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Knowledge of industrial-grade oils, grease, and lubricants, including the differences between sealed and non-sealed bearings.
Understanding of basic troubleshooting techniques and electrical theory.
Experience and willingness to work weekends as required.
Ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.
Experience working in hot and damp environments, including wearing PPE and performing physical tasks such as climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods.

Grounds/Facility Maintenance Technician
Full Time | Days (7:30am - 3:30pm) or Evenings (1pm - 9:30pm)

The Maintenance Technician supports our mission and values by maintaining the facility equipment, buildings, and grounds in a safe and efficient manner.
The Maintenance Technician primary responsibilities will include:
Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc. by cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, and snow removal as directed.
Perform routine maintenance/repair on the facility and equipment to include plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc. as directed. This also includes all grounds, mowing, and snow removal equipment.
Clean screens and filters.
Replace burned out light bulbs including exit lights, overhead lights, call lights, hall lights, and perform cleaning of lenses as directed. This includes all outside lights on campus as well.
Service heating/cooling units as specified by manufacturers or as directed.
Painting inside and outside facility.
Reports any problems to Director of Facilities.
Follow all established safety procedures and precautions at all times, including lockout tagout and all electrical safety procedures.
Maintain all personal protective equipment and devices in good working condition.
Maintain general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.
Report all unsafe/hazardous conditions, defective equipment, and unusual events to supervisor.
Assure that work areas are clean and safe. Ensuring all equipment, tools and supplies are properly stored before leaving areas on breaks, mealtimes, and end of workday.
Maintenance work areas are to be free of hazardous conditions (i.e. grease, oil spills, excess equipment and supplies, unsupervised extension cords, etc.)
Follow established fire and safety programs and conducting monthly firedrills, as well as, have knowledge of proper operation and re-setting of alarms and sprinkling systems.
Presents a courteous, cooperative, and compassionate demeanor to Village residents, staff, and visitors at all times.
Maintains the confidentiality of resident information.
Honors the residents personal and property rights including knocking on doors before entering resident room.
What is required in this position?
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Prior experience in general maintenance preferred.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to do heavy work and lift a maximum of 100 pounds with or without assistance.
Must have basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical ability.
Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

The Portage-Geauga County Juvenile Detention Center is seeking a full-time maintenance worker responsible for maintaining the facility and grounds throughout various on-site locations. Maintains an
on-call 24-hour status for emergencies. Preferred knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical procedures.
Regularly assigned duties to include:
Maintaining a safe and secure environment through regular inspection and maintenance of facility and grounds to ensure proper operation of plumbing fixtures, HVAC, appliances, doors, locks, and related security equipment.
Performing various maintenance tasks, including general electrical and plumbing repairs, painting, stripping and waxing floors, etc.
Coordinating advanced repairs with Portage County Maintenance and/or selected contractors.
Completing custodial and housekeeping tasks.
Performing groundskeeping, including but not limited to mowing lawns, laying mulch, pulling weeds, and trimming hedges.
Performing snow removal, including plowing, snow blowing, shoveling, and salting parking lots and sidewalks.
