1988

Factory Connection was founded by Mike McAandrews in 1988.

1993

1993 was a challenging year in many ways but the business was stable and many of Ziggy's past experiences and contacts at Honda and Showa were adding to what Mike had previously assembled.

1995

Honda called during the National MX series in 1995.

1996

Honda had contracted a satellite team called "Primal Impulse" for 1996 and asked us to be the suspension supplier.

1997

The decision to go racing happened in the fall of 1997.

1998

Launched in 1998 as the Jack In The Box Factory Connection Honda team in support of Mike LaRocco, the team quickly grew into one of the most successful teams on the National Motocross and Supercross circuit.

1999

Working with Jeff Fox at Parts Unlimited, a local bank and a business consultant, Ziggy writes a plan, secures a purchase order and a line of credit which resulted in Factory Connection launching its own line of fork and shock springs in 1999.

2000

In 2000 Honda calls again.

2001

Promoted to Honda’s official 125 support team in 2001, Factory Connection picked up high-profile sponsors like Amsoil, Doc Martens, No Fear, Samsung, Sobe, and eventually, Geico.

2003

In the summer of 2003 Kevin Windham returns to racing with Factory Connection on a CRF 450! Kevin is poetry in motion on the 450 and stops Carmichael's win streak in only his second race back.

2004

Amateur Motocross Nationals was the focus of Factory Connection in 2004.

2006

Mike LaRocco retires after an injury during the 2006 SX season.

2009

September of 2009 marks the opening of the 3rd Factory Connection facility.

2010

2010 marks the first time Factory Connection wins a National Motocross championship with Trey Canard in the 250 class.

2011

Factory Connection offers trackside support at the GNCC series beginning in 2011.

2012

After a few years of working with our original dyno, a more powerful and faster dyno is purchased in May of 2012.

Barica repeats in 2012 and Eli Tomac wins the 2012 West Coast Lites SX.

2013

October of 2013 marks the opening of a new facility in Milwaukie Oregon.

Eli Tomac claims the 2013 National MX title.

2016

In 2016 Factory Connection opens shop number six in Leesburg Florida.

2019

In 2019 it was nice to see another former Factory Connection mini bike kid mature and realize his dream of becoming National Champion when Chase Sexton wins another East Coast Lites SX title.
