Summary:

Focus Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing, assembly, and shipment of C.H.I. products within their Focus Factory. The Focus Factory Manager will lead a large cross-functional team that includes all team members, team leaders, group leaders, quality, engineering, production planning and continuous improvement. This person will guide the Focus Factory in its support of internal and external customer requirements and is responsible for meeting or exceeding all Focus Factory KPI’s including safety, quality, delivery and cost. The Focus Factory Manager will coordinate the development of the people, processes and capabilities within the Focus Factory.

Essential Functions:

1 . Manages all daily activities within the focus factory

2 . Plans and manage all quality, environmental health and safety compliance and regulatory aspects

3 . Key stakeholder of continuous improvement activities (Lean, TVM, Six Sigma)

4 . Drives development of facilities processes and future capabilities

5 . Develops and executes systems and processes that meet or exceed the focus factory and plant goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, production and material control

6 . Works with the staff to set focus factory and personal goals. Monitors performance and develops all team members. Evaluates employee performance and establishes development and improvement plans

7 . Supports efforts to implement succession planning for targeted key functional positions

8 . Provides resources to support facility and customer needs
