Cons of working at Factual Data

I worked at Factual Data for 14 months. At that point I decided it appropriate to resign. I kindly provided 2 weeks notice. During my employment, by taking negligible leave, I accumulated 90 hours of paid time off. During those 14 months I had two urgent issues that required about 1.5 hours each of PTO without prior approval. Otherwise I was early to work and did not need to take unauthorized time off. I was told they could set their clock by me. During my resignation checkout I was informed that I would not be paid for my 90 hours of PTO. Somewhere in their employee handbook, that is reportedly their policy. That policy was not part of my employee package and was never expressed to me. So my desire to leave on good terms turned sour. The company snatched 90 hours of PTO from me without compensation. None of this was front-loaded PTO. It was earned. I suspect that this is all you need to know about the company.
