Piedmont Columbus Regional Family Medicine Residency Program in Columbus, Georgia is recruiting a full-time family physician faculty member to join its outstanding Family Medicine residency program established in 1972. The program recently graduated its 50th class of family physicians. The program is a 36-resident stand-alone program that also sponsors the Sports Medicine fellowship at Auburn University. The residency program has both allopathic and osteopathic medical school affiliations. The successful applicant will have a passion for patient care and teaching and be a role model in both the ambulatory and inpatient setting.
Position Requirements:

Posting Details Information Job Title Assistant/Associate Professor - Aquatic Genomics Posting Number P2261F Information The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences (SFAAS) in the College of Agriculture at Auburn University is seeking applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor in Aquatic Genomics. This position will be a nine-month, tenure-track position with 80% research and 20% teaching appointment. The projected start date is August 2026.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to establish a dynamic, innovative, and externally funded research program in Aquatic Genomics. The research program should primarily focus on the functional genomics of aquatic species, supporting both the land-grant mission and the mission of SFAAS. Candidates conducting research in related areas within aquatic systems, including Aquaculture Genomics; Fisheries Genomics; Comparative Genomics; Metagenomics and Microbiome Genomics; Transcriptomics, Proteomics, and Metabolomics; Epigenomics; Bioinformatics, Big Data and Systems Genomics; and Environmental and Ecological Genomics are also encouraged to apply. Candidates developing novel statistical, machine learning, or artificial intelligence approaches and applying such methods to aquatic genomic data are likewise encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with aquatic species is preferred; however, applicants with experience in other animal, plant, and microbial systems will also be considered, provided their future research program focuses on aquatic organisms. Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. in genomics or related life-sciences field at the time employment begins. Must exhibit a publication record in genomics research and a record or the potential to attract extramural funding. The selected individual is required to work effectively with colleagues across disciplines and to develop collaborative research programs. The selected individual must also possess excellent written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with a wide range of audiences. The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to be gainfully employed in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and to continue working legally for the term of employment.

Job Details:Mercer University School of Medicine is seeking highly qualified educators with broad training and demonstrated experience or enthusiasm for teaching in an integrated pre-clerkship medical school curriculum.
Responsibilities:
This position is a non-tenure track, 12-month appointment on the Columbus, GA campus. Additional duties will be required/assigned during the summer. The departmental assignment will be based on degree type and experience.
Teaching faculty will play a key role in the continued development and implementation of an integrated, cross-disciplinary curriculum that includes small and large group case-based and team-based learning, and other active teaching-learning methods.

Eligible DAF civilians can complete the program at little or no cost.
Specific Job Responsibilities: • The instructor shall instruct in the Civilian Undergraduate Degree Program. The instructor shall teach up to 40 online sections/classes per year. A section/class may have up to 30 students.
Each online section/class will normally run for up to 9 weeks and average 10 hours of instructor engagement per week. A single contract instructor may teach up to 4 online sections/classes at any given time.
The instructor shall be able to deliver curricula, facilitate group exercises/activities through synchronous and asynchronous online classrooms and learning management systems, monitor participant progress and account for participant activity/participation in a distance learning environment.
Complete grading and respond to student questions. Give feedback to students as needed and remediate them. Engage with students via phone and email to resolve course-related issues and help students make satisfactory progress.
Additionally, the instructor shall complete end-of-course reports for the classes they instructed. The instructor shall attend the curriculum committee and other CADP team meetings as required.
The instructor shall follow all policies and procedures for instructors described by AF, AETC, AU, Eaker, FSPDS and CADP guidance.

The Department of Social Work and Anthropology currently includes nine full-time faculty and is expected to grow to eleven in Fall 2026. In addition to the majors, the department offers minors in Child Advocacy Studies, Social Work, Gerontology, and Anthropology.

- Static and dynamic properties of materials. Principles of machine elements calculations, components selection, assembly, and lubrication (3 credits)
Preference will be given to those who can teach in person, although applications from remote instructors will be considered. A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant engineering field is preferred, although those with significant professional experience will be considered.

Job Details:Mercer University School of Medicine is seeking highly qualified educators with broad training and demonstrated experience or enthusiasm for teaching in an integrated pre-clerkship medical school curriculum.
Responsibilities:
This position is a non-tenure track, 12-month appointment on the Columbus, GA campus. Additional duties will be required/assigned during the summer.
Teaching faculty will play a key role in the continued development and implementation of an integrated, cross-disciplinary curriculum that includes small and large group case-based and team-based learning, and other active teaching-learning methods.
Successful candidates will have a strong record of scholarly activity and evidence of medical or graduate teaching expertise in the physiology discipline.
Expertise in other disciplines will also be considered depending on the teaching needs of our department.

Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a terminal degree (M.D or equivalent, Ph.D.) from an accredited college/university in an appropriate discipline. In the case of applicants to the Pharmacology position, applications are invited from individuals with a PharmD degree as well.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in health professions education particularly with utilizing active learning methods in teaching biomedical sciences in one of the three areas/disciplines listed above;
Experience independently develop learning resources, independently develop and facilitate large group interactive learning sessions, develop items for assessment of student learning, and serve as a discipline representative in one of the above three areas;
Experience as a tutor/facilitator of small group interdisciplinary case-based learning sessions in a clinically oriented pre-clerkship medical curriculum.
Applicants applying for Associate or Full Professor ranks should have a strong record of medical school teaching in large and small group settings.
Faculty members are expected to participate broadly across the curricula in both the medical and graduate programs, engage in scholarship in areas of biomedical science, medical education, or community-oriented research, and serve on departmental, school-wide, or other committees as designated.
