    Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of one or more of the six pillars of the center related to Violence Prevention research, with special consideration given to researchers conducting research related to gun violence. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Have demonstrated excellent track record in securing federal grants and have developed a clear line of violence prevention research. Teaching responsibilities may include didactic sessions with graduate students, medical fellows and residents, and postdoctoral fellows as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department. Clinical responsibilities may include patient care depending on the candidate, including but not limited to outpatient treatment, outpatient consultations, inpatient consultations, and inpatient attending responsibilities. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include maintaining an active research laboratory and supervising students, postdoctoral fellows, and research staff. Additional responsibilities include writing grants, reports, and manuscripts, developing collaborative and independent research programs, and coordinating NIH-funded grant efforts with local, national, and international collaborators. Successful applicants will have evidence of federal funding and demonstrated success in fundamental and/or translational research relevant to violence prevention research. The primary faculty appointment will be in the Department of Pediatrics or the department in the Perelman School of Medicine that provides the best scientific fit.     The Rutgers-Camden Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office is seeking an instructor who can teach the Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills ( CARS ) section of the MCAT exam and also serve as the instructor of record for the MCAT workshop course that is offered to undergraduate students for academic credit. The course may utilize materials from a test preparation company such as Kaplan and will be supplemented by American Association of Medical Colleges ( AAMC ) materials and direct instruction. The course will cover all four sections of the MCAT exam, with separate instructors teaching each of the three other sections. The instructor of record will coordinate the work of the other instructors and ensure that the course runs efficiently and effectively. The course will be offered in person in Camden, NJ. Qualifications A Master's degree is required, Doctoral degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, finance or closely related field is required (or at least 18 graduate credit hours in statistics or related coursework). Prior teaching experience at a college or university is preferred. Experience using statistics in a business environment is a plus. Familiarity with statistical tools and software (Excel, SPSS, JASP, etc.) is required. Ability to use a learning management system (Canvas) is a plus. JOB DUTIES Reporting to the Dean and Program Coordinator, adjunct faculty provides assistance to students in their learning process by utilizing all appropriate college resources, materials, facilities, and educational technologies available to complement the teaching and learning process providing a direct impact to student success. MCCC is seeking Adjunct faculty member to support the Program. The position prepares and delivers classroom instruction for selected courses and serves as a valued member of the College. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Photography, Fine Arts, or Art and Master's degree in Art History or Humanities from an accredited educational institution. * Demonstrated: -mastery of technical skills related to operating film and digital cameras * Three (3) years' of experience teaching or working in Black and White Darkroom * Three (3) years of instructional experience teaching both in person and online courses * Three (3) years' of experience teaching or working with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom * Three (3) years' of experience printing with pigment inkjet printers and color profiles * Proven instructional experience and dedication to student success * Master's in Fine Arts in Photography, Fine Arts, or Art from an accredited educational institution. * At least five (5) years teaching experience in Higher Education.
