The faculty member is a non-tenured position responsible for the education in predoctoral didactic and/or clinical educational programs. This position participates and assists the department Chair and colleagues in the planning, directing and implementation of college programs, policies and procedures, and assists in the development and teaching of curricula which integrates the different specialty areas in a team-based, large and small group learning environments. The responsibilities for this position may include some or all of the following: serving the academic mission of the department in teaching medical students, directing pre-clinical and clinical courses, performing scholarly activities, service to the college and profession including committee work, and student advising, student recruitment, retention, and placement efforts. Faculty positions are varied and include clinical faculty positions. The Faculty Advisor for Mathematics is a key member of the Faculty Advisory Team within the Pearson North America Higher Education Customer Success Organization. They will strategically identify and partner with key course-level administrators, acting as a pedagogical and subject-matter expert on the alignment of Pearson digital products with instructors' learning objectives and student outcomes. The School of Respiratory Care Sciences in the College of Health Sciences at Boise State University invites applications for a 9-month Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position to begin in August 2026. Responsibilities include developing a lab, maintaining an active research program, and mentoring student research (60%), teaching (20%), and service (20%) to the school, college, and university to advance the School mission and vision. School overview: The School of Respiratory Care Sciences offers three programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC). At the undergraduate level, the school is home to an Entry-Level BSRC Program that qualifies students for the credential-earning examinations of the National Board for Respiratory Care. The school also offers an online RRT to Bachelor of Science Degree Advancement Program (DAP) for RRTs who have earned an Associate's Degree from a regionally accredited institution. At the graduate level, the school offers an online MSRC Degree Program for RRTs who hold a valid credential and a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution.
