    Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of one or more of the six pillars of the center related to Violence Prevention research, with special consideration given to researchers conducting research related to gun violence. Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Have demonstrated excellent track record in securing federal grants and have developed a clear line of violence prevention research. Teaching responsibilities may include didactic sessions with graduate students, medical fellows and residents, and postdoctoral fellows as well as formal lecture opportunities within the department. Clinical responsibilities may include patient care depending on the candidate, including but not limited to outpatient treatment, outpatient consultations, inpatient consultations, and inpatient attending responsibilities. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include maintaining an active research laboratory and supervising students, postdoctoral fellows, and research staff. Additional responsibilities include writing grants, reports, and manuscripts, developing collaborative and independent research programs, and coordinating NIH-funded grant efforts with local, national, and international collaborators. Successful applicants will have evidence of federal funding and demonstrated success in fundamental and/or translational research relevant to violence prevention research. The primary faculty appointment will be in the Department of Pediatrics or the department in the Perelman School of Medicine that provides the best scientific fit. Position Summary The School of Business and Technology at Holy Family University is seeking a qualified adjunct instructor to teach BUSA 104: Applied Business Statistics on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 11:45 AM to 12:45PM in the Spring 2026 semester beginning on 1/12/2026 through 5/11/2026 on the Northeast Philadelphia Main Campus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background, demonstrated expertise in elementary statistics, and a passion for engaging and inspiring students. Qualifications A Master's degree is required, Doctoral degree preferred. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, finance or closely related field is required (or at least 18 graduate credit hours in statistics or related coursework). Prior teaching experience at a college or university is preferred. Experience using statistics in a business environment is a plus. Familiarity with statistical tools and software (Excel, SPSS, JASP, etc.) is required. Ability to use a learning management system (Canvas) is a plus.
