Required

The Department of Film, Animation and New Media within the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Tampa is searching for an Assistant Teaching Professor in the area of Digital Foundations, focusing on Digital Media and Digital Drawing to begin in August 2026. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position eligible for promotion.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The University of South Florida (USF) Taneja College of Pharmacy invites applications for a faculty position in Clinical Pharmacogenomics. The clinical responsibilities of this position will focus on supporting and expanding an established pharmacogenomics service with an active practice site at our flagship teaching hospital, Tampa General Hospital (TGH), and developing collaborations at USF Health Clinics. This service, founded and led by current faculty members, is already integrated into routine patient care. The new faculty member will work with the pharmacogenomics team and interdisciplinary partners to strengthen clinical implementation, contribute to teaching and mentorship, and advance program growth. Opportunities for expansion into additional patient populations and clinical areas are anticipated as the service continues to evolve in alignment with the college's strategic priorities. This position is housed in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Clinical Research (PCR) and reports to the PCR Department Chair.
Minimum:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited academic program
Licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a pharmacist in the state of Florida.
Practiced as a clinical pharmacist for greater than 2 years with experience in pharmacogenomics program development, quality improvement, or service implementation and patient counseling.
Meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in Clinical Pharmacogenomics or fellowship training in Clinical Pharmacogenomics; or completion of a PGY1 residency with significant clinical pharmacogenomics experience in an academic health system, teaching hospital, or ambulatory care setting.
Demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, clinical pharmacy practice, research/scholarship, and service.
Key responsibilities:
Provide clinical support for pharmacogenomics-guided prescribing.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across pharmacy, medicine, genetics, laboratory, and informatics.
Support program implementation, clinical workflows, data tracking, and quality improvement initiatives.
Contribute to the education and mentorship of PharmD students, residents, and fellows.
Teach in the PharmD curriculum, including didactic, experiential, and interprofessional education.
Engage in research, scholarship, and program evaluation in pharmacogenomics and related areas, consistent with departmental and college priorities.
Responsible for student success coaching, mentoring, and related activities.
May represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or professional organization committees

Summary
The Translational Pathology Senior Faculty Member conducts research that is closely aligned and appointed in a Moffitt Medical Group (MMG) Clinical Department. Performance expectations will be defined by rank aligned with Moffitt Research Institute standards (e.g., funding and publication) and the appropriate Appointment, Promotion & Tenure (APT) Committee based on the appropriate research scientific areas (i.e., Basic, Population, or Quantitative Science).
