Position Summary:
The University of Northern Colorado College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNC COM) is seeking applications for a faculty to teach neurosciences at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The selected candidate will contribute to the development, assessment, and instruction of the preclinical curriculum in the osteopathic medical program.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and growing team dedicated to providing an innovative, student-centered curriculum. This position may be filled by either a contract renewable or tenure-track faculty member, to be determined at the point of offer after consideration of applicable experience and credentials. Individuals who currently hold tenure at a regionally accredited institution may be recommended for tenure or retreat rights at UNC following consultation with appropriate faculty groups and university administration, and upon approval by the Board of Trustees. Academic rank and salary will depend upon the selected applicant's current rank and experience.

Job Duties:
Teaching and Curriculum Development (60-80%)
* Teach neuroscience in the preclinical curriculum of the osteopathic medical program.
* Utilize active learning methods such as team-based learning (TBL), case-based learning (CBL), and flipped classrooms.
* Develop and deliver innovative course content that aligns with UNC COM's college's mission and educational goals.
* Participate in curriculum development and review, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and best practices in medical education.
Research and Scholarship (10-20%)
* Engage in research or scholarly activities in the candidate's area of expertise, with opportunities for collaboration within and outside the college.
* Mentor students in research projects, fostering critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
Service (10-20%)
* Serve on college and university committees as assigned.
* Participate in academic advising and mentoring of medical students.
* Contribute to the college's mission of community engagement and healthcare improvement through outreach and service activities.
* Support accreditation and assessment activities, including data collection and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
* DO, MD, or PhD in Neuroscience or a related or academically appropriate area from an accredited institution
* Teaching experience in higher education, preferably in a medical or health professions college.
* For tenure-track positions: evidence of research potential, including publications or presentations in peer-reviewed forums.
* Experience with curriculum development and assessment in medical education is preferred.

Position Summary
The Department of Finance at MSU Denver invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 2026. This position is a nine-month, full-time tenure track appointment. The successful candidate will be expected to teach upper division classes in finance. In addition, this candidate will be required to engage in meaningful professional development activities as evidenced by production of intellectual contributions to be shared with the wider academic and professional communities. Further, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in service activities to benefit the department, college, and/or university.
In particular, the successful candidate for this position will be expected to hold a Ph.D. in Finance, as evidenced by the graduate transcripts. Conducting research in the field of Finance is an expectation in this position.
MSU Denver has a robust mentoring program for tenure-track faculty. The candidate will be enrolled in the Roadrunner Faculty Academy during their first year. This is a year-long course designed to support new faculty navigate faculty life and thrive in teaching, scholarly activity and service.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach according to university specified polices using a variety of instructional modes and courses that fit the needs of the department. Consistently high levels of teaching performance, as evidenced by student ratings of instruction will be a key consideration in reappointment. The successful candidate for this position will be expected to teach courses in finance.
The successful candidate will be expected to engage in activities that enhance the faculty member's knowledge base and skill set, are shared with the wider academic community, and result in the cultivation of new concepts and material that can then be delivered in the classroom. Such intellectual contributions are expected in this position and will be a key condition of reappointment.
Required Qualifications
A research-based Ph.D. degree in Finance or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution at the time employment begins in August 2026; or ABD candidates will be considered with evidence of completion of degree by start of contract.

Master's degree in a public safety related field (including, but not limited to: criminal justice, fire science, emergency medical services, organizational management and leadership) plus 8,000 hours of experience in public safety or related field.

Who You Are
As a Machining Faculty member, your primary responsibilities will be related to teaching full time and assisting in the administration of the Precision Machining Technology academic program and the Fast-Track Machining, non-credit program. This position requires a person who can develop and deliver innovative machining (MAC) curriculum using dynamic, responsive and technology-based methods that are matched to the needs of our students and the industry.
The applicant should meet the following instructional standards: create an effective learning environment for students; teach courses consistent with CCNS MAC template and appropriate course content guide, catalog description, at the scheduled time and place and meets required contact hours; use appropriate resources, technology, and pedagogy in the delivery of courses; sustain consistency and course integrity through participation in college-wide and programmatic assessment of student learning; assisting in course coordination, development and improvement; advising students and meeting scheduled office hours; regular participation in departmental and divisional teams and on college-wide committees; and collaborate with colleagues for instructional improvement and adhere to departmental standards and policies.
This faculty member should understand all aspects of machining including: basic CAD drawing, solid modeling, MasterCAM, machine shop operations and safety procedures, metrology, blueprint reading, and GD & T.
This position may require teaching some evening and weekend classes, as well as teaching multiple disciplines (such as CAD) within the Machining program.
Faculty are responsible for providing quality education including class instruction, class-related work, and performing other professional duties which may include, but are not limited to, advising students; mentoring and supporting part-time instructors; serving on institution-wide committees and statewide task forces; recruiting students; sponsoring student activities; providing job placement and community outreach services; participating in professional organizations which enhance the educational mission of the college; and developing innovative approaches to learning.
This position does have the opportunity to work remotely occasionally but does require a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.

Position Summary
The Department of Human Services and Counseling at MSU Denver invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position centering on excellence in teaching, advising, scholarship, and service. This is a 9-month faculty appointment beginning January 2026 (preferred) or August 2026. The standard teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester which includes assignments in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
The successful candidate will teach across multiple delivery formats including in-person, hybrid, and asynchronous modalities; teaching may include evening, weekend, and online courses with on-campus teaching required each semester. The role also includes advising students in areas such as academic planning, addiction credentialing, graduate school preparation, and career exploration. Additional responsibilities include active service to the department, college, university, and broader community; engagement in scholarly activities that contribute to both academic and professional communities; and cultivating partnerships within helping professions at local, regional, and national levels.

Job Summary:
The Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Colorado is seeking a board certified/board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a sub-specialty in Adult Spine Surgery and interest in complex spine deformity, tumor and infection to be based at the Anschutz Medical Campus. All candidates must have completed a 5-year residency and a one-year fellowship, have an interest in developing a clinical practice, interest in research endeavors, and participate in our resident/fellowship education program.
The primary responsibility will be as an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon. Clinical responsibilities include actively participating in the continued growth of the Spine Surgery programs at the University of Colorado. The candidate will provide services in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
Teaching responsibilities include participating in the education of Orthopedic fellows, residents, and medical students.
As an academic institution with a promotional track, candidates will have to display a record of active research endeavors. Research Responsibilities integral to this position include active participation in research activities within the Spine program, and the personal development of focused clinical and/or basic science research activities parallel to their clinical practice. The applicant must be self-directed, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a high-intensity environment. Alternatively, the candidate may choose a clinical track. Key Responsibilities:
70% Clinical
Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations on assigned patients; assesses and treats acute/chronic medical problems and provides direct patient care to a specified patient population. Writes prescriptions for medications, PT, OT, imaging studies, and DME as needed. Complete FMLA and other forms and school notes as needed.
Provides pre-op, intra-op and post-op care; writes appropriate orders, including those for narcotics and other scheduled drugs.
Duties may include inpatient care, consultation and coverage in the emergency room.
Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.
Coordinates the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic. Work with the team to ensure smooth operation of the clinic.
Writes progress notes on patients' office and hospital charts in a timely fashion indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed; maintains other records as required.
Participates in on-call coverage for orthopedic surgery as part of the orthopedic group practice. This will include jointly covering all on-call days as needed with the group practice, emergent treatment as appropriate and admitting/temporizing patients as medically appropriate.
Provides health education to patients and families; may train and supervise medical students, residents, fellows, mid-level students and other health professional students engaged in specific clinical activities.

Develop written educational materials and treatment protocols for specific conditions and post-operative care.
Gives power point and poster presentations for educational purposes at institutional, local and national meetings.
Performs clinical and/or basic science research related to spine specific conditions and prepares manuscripts for publication in conjunction with the orthopedic spine research group.
30% Administrative Leadership
In collaboration with the Chair of the Department, Executive Vice Chair and Vice Chair of Finance and Administration:
Analyze healthcare utilization, cost trends, and outcomes data to inform budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Partner with finance and operations teams to evaluate the economic impact of clinical programs, service lines, and population health initiatives.
Serve as a liaison between clinical sections and financial leadership to ensure alignment of clinical goals with fiscal responsibility.
Contribute to the development of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that track financial and clinical performance.
Participate in contract negotiations and payer strategy discussions, offering clinical perspectives on reimbursement models and incentives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire
Board certified and/or board eligible Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Completion of a five-year residency and a one-year fellowship
Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience; 5 of which as a practicing Orthopedic Spine surgeon
Demonstrated experience in healthcare finance and economics
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in developing a clinical practice and working together as an orthopedic group in a hybrid academic-private practice setting.
Participate in our resident/fellowship education program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Flexibility to handle unforeseen challenges during surgery and make real-time decisions for the patient's well-being.
Ability to explain complex medical conditions in a way that patients and their families can understand.
