Summary of Job Duties:The Medical Physicist for Proton Therapy provides comprehensive medical physics, dosimetry, engineering, and informatics support within the Department of Radiation Oncology for the Proton Center of Arkansas. Qualifications:
Ph.D required.
Graduation from a CAMPEP-accredited residency program.
Experience with proton therapy is preferred, though not required.
Experience with proton therapy and the RayStation treatment planning system is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Meet the priorities of the department and the Cancer Service Line.
Help develop and implement departmental standards for physics, dosimetry, engineering, and informatics in accordance with accrediting regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Nursing Skills/Simulation Faculty will coordinate all of the nursing lab spaces, collaborate with the other Nursing Skills/Simulation faculty, and RN and PN nursing team faculty, coordinate skills competency demonstrations, clinical simulation, supervision of lab tutors and coordination of lab equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate clinical simulation activities and evaluation of simulation participants
Evaluation of skills competency demonstrations
Prepare and post campus nursing lab and simulation lab schedules
Design and implement learning activities in the nursing lab that will enhance nursing procedures and critical thinking
Evaluate the effectiveness of simulation as an educational and assessment strategy
Provide instructions and guide all simulation users in simulation activities, operation of patient simulators, audio-visual equipment, and their maintenance
Supervising, evaluating, and delegating responsibilities to student lab workers in accordance with their
Use technology and nursing experience to implement validated simulation scenarios and debrief students after the simulation experience to enhance student learning
Participate in designing and teaching content for all instructional teams (PN and RN)
