First-Year Composition Tutorial (GLE110.T) is designed to give writing challenged first-year, first-semester students the support they need to be successful in First-Year Composition. Tutors from the Writing Center are imbedded in these sections, and T students are required to take advantage of tutoring resources. This course has a lower course maximum (15). Meets all the curricular requirements of the non-T GLE110.
First-Year Composition (GLE110) is the first-year, first semester requirement of all incoming students. Students learn to attend to the context and purpose of their writing while selecting credible, relevant sources to develop their own ideas. This course also works to refine the ability to analyze and comprehend texts. Addresses Learning Outcomes Critical Reading and Written Communication.
Second-Year Composition (GLE230) is designed for second-semester, second-year students . Emphasizing skills and techniques developed in GLE110, students will also learn discipline specific conventions and refine proofreading skills. Most sections have a concentration in Business and Professional Writing, Liberal Arts, or Science Writing. Additionally, students will develop basic presentation skills. Addresses Learning Outcomes Written Communication and Oral Communication.
There are also Honors sections offered for both GLE110 and GLE230.

Accountabilities
While individual responsibilities will vary from one faculty position to another, these are the major job duties for this position:
Teaching: Faculty teach two classes in the Spring trimester (although teaching three classes could also be a possibility). All classes are student-centered discussions around a Harkness table. In order to meet the intellectual needs of the school's talented and highly motivated students, teachers are expected to be dedicated to daily preparation for the best possible classes.

They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. The CTS Instructor-I is a hands-on position that requires the candidate to effectively and consistently deliver the highest quality classroom instruction to a wide variety of students including developmental air traffic controllers and Certified Professional Controllers (CPC).
The successful candidate for this position must demonstrate strong technical skills with current ATC systems and procedures. This position may provide mentoring for students and Remote Pilot Operators (RPO) and may participate in curriculum design and development. The selected candidate must demonstrate the knowledge and skills applicable for obtaining classroom instruction certifications at FAA air traffic control facilities within the U.S. National Airspace System.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is responsible for ensuring that air traffic control specialists provide the flying public with a high level of safety and professionalism. A well-trained Air Traffic Control (ATC) workforce plays an essential role in fulfilling this responsibility. The FAA employs more than 14,000 air traffic controllers. They work in air traffic facilities of varying sizes, safely separating more than 50,000 aircraft in the National Airspace System (NAS) each day.
To provide such air traffic services, the FAA trains new air traffic control specialists and provides recurrent training to current air traffic control specialists. The FAA utilizes Contractor-provided instructional services at FAA ATC facilities throughout the U.S. and its Territories to ensure these training needs are met. The scope of the contractor-provided services includes all training and training program support to successfully train and prepare students to become fully certified air traffic controllers. PenBay must provide training and training related support services as required for all types and levels of ATC facilities.

Provide expert instruction of designated courses with specific focus on specialty courses as assigned using currently approved lesson plans.

Provide an optimal training environment in the classroom and on the range, utilizing SIG SAUER Academy instructional methods, practices, and procedures.

Education/Experience & Skills:
