This is a unique opportunity to work with a wide variety pf personnel and teach them how to use the best robots in the industry Instructor - cRc Training Department Brief: You will develop and present training programs for customers, distributors and FANUC Robotics' personnel. The position allows you daily interface with customers and FANUC America Corporation (FAC) personnel in a technical training capacity. In addition, the instructor will interface with other groups within FAC to ensure that training materials being presented are in accordance with the latest information available regarding product development.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide technical training for customers, distributors and employees.
Teach FANUC curriculum, the classes will contain the following:
Power Point Presentations with Objectives and tasks
Detailed Instructor outlines
Student outlines and handouts
Objective based exercises
Pre-test and post test
Use of simulators or machine tools
Report discrepancies between product and documentation to appropriate departments
Suggest improvements to the class curriculum.
Prepare and maintain classrooms, training simulators and laboratory and the training office area to ensure a “Best in Class” training experience for the students.
Provide feedback to improve FAC's employee culture and customer experience.
Provide support to customers and FAC departments by answering technical questions and advising appropriate action to resolve a problem.
Reliable, consistent attendance required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proficient communication, presentation skills and computer skills.
Ability to read, write and speak fluent English skills
Ability to learn new technical and troubleshooting skills.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
Understand basic Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic theory

Flint has a long history of community activism and involvement. It is one of the birthplaces of community-based participatory research (CBPR) and includes nationally recognized community pioneers and citizen scientists. For example, the first community representative to be President of the American Public Health Association in its 100+ year history, beginning her term in 2023, is a member of the Flint community. In 2011, the Flint community (including Flint-area hospitals) approached MSU with a proposal to create an academic Department of Public Health in Flint. Their idea was that the department would improve health through community-identified public health solutions, provide an economic driver for Flint, and lead the nation in health equity informed policy change. MSU agreed and took an unprecedented community-participatory approach, building the Flint community into the Department and its governance, including focus areas, priorities, and faculty to hire. Through 1000+ surveys and more than 100 interviews, community members identified the top public health needs of Flint, providing the areas of focus for the new unit, which began as a Division in 2015. Community members make up and continue to make up much of the faculty search committee tasked with hiring the best public health researchers in the country to address these issues.
This radical experiment in community-partnered departmental administration has been wildly successful both in funding and in real-world impact. Departmental faculty have obtained over $175 million in extramural funding. Among its many projects, the Department currently includes two NIH-funded Centers (one in maternal health equity and the other in suicide prevention) and the first city-wide unconditional and universal cash prescription program for pregnant/postpartum people and infants. What began as a Division in 2015 became a Department in 2022, spurring a new phase of growth and development.
The current opportunity. Led by Founding Department Chair Jennifer Johnson, PhD, we seek to attract and generously support new research colleagues who are committed to conducting the high caliber, high impact, and deeply community-partnered research that has come to characterize the department. To maximize the real-world impact of our findings, the Department is currently working to: (1) expand our strength in implementation and dissemination science; (2) continue innovation in sharing departmental governance with the Flint community; and (3) leverage a dedicated Departmental health policy advocate to move findings into policy.

An innovative premise. Located in Flint, Michigan, the Charles Stewart Mott Department of Public Health seeks to build on strong and energetic growth in research. Flint has a long history of community activism and involvement. It is one of the birthplaces of community-based participatory research (CBPR) and includes nationally recognized community pioneers and citizen scientists. For example, the first community representative to be President of the American Public Health Association in its 100+ year history, beginning her term in 2023, is a member of the Flint community. In 2011, the Flint community (including Flint-area hospitals) approached MSU with a proposal to create an academic Department of Public Health in Flint. Their idea was that the department would improve health through community-identified public health solutions, provide an economic driver for Flint, and lead the nation in health equity informed policy change. MSU agreed and took an unprecedented community participatory approach, building the Flint community into the Department and its governance, including focus areas, priorities, and faculty to hire. Through 1000+ surveys and more than 100 interviews, community members identified the top public health needs of Flint, providing the areas of focus for the new unit, which began as a Division in 2015. Community members make up and continue to make up much of the faculty search committee tasked with hiring the best public health researchers in the country to address these issues.
This radical experiment in community-partnered departmental administration has been wildly successful both in funding and in real-world impact. Departmental faculty have obtained over $200 million in extramural funding. Among its many projects, the Department currently includes two NIH-funded Centers (one in maternal health equity and the other in suicide prevention) and the first city-wide unconditional and universal cash prescription program for pregnant/postpartum people and infants. What began as a Division in 2015 became a Department in 2022, spurring a new phase of growth and development.
The current opportunity. Led by Founding Department Chair Jennifer Johnson, PhD, we seek to attract and generously support new research colleagues who are committed to conducting the high caliber, high impact, and community-partnered research that has come to characterize the department. To maximize the real-world impact of our findings, the Department is currently working to: (1) expand our strength in implementation and dissemination science; (2) continue innovation in sharing departmental governance with the Flint community; and (3) leverage a dedicated Departmental health policy advocate to move findings into policy.
We seek exceptional mid‐to‐advanced career investigators with innovative research portfolios focused on addressing the needs of underserved communities to join our energetic, mission-driven Department. Public health issues of high importance originally identified by the Flint community included health equity, social determinants of health (violence, safety, the built environment, education, employment), behavioral health (i.e., mental health and substance use), healthy behaviors (including screening/prevention), and chronic disease. Recent events have also highlighted maternal-child health and environmental justice. Primary research methodologies are action-oriented: implementation science (including sustainment), dissemination and communication, intervention and services research, and research to change health policy. The Department also includes three health geographers whose work focuses on identifying and eliminating the effects of racism on the built environment. Adjunct Faculty Responsibilities
* Teach undergraduate in-person classes that personally engage students using active, hands-on activities in the classroom.
* Utilize the Canvas learning management system to deliver instruction (using an existing course structure and University-selected textbook/content materials, which faculty are welcome to supplement) and in-person student engagement using tools and features to deliver course content and record classroom attendance, grades, and assignments according to Cleary University instructional expectations.
* Practice interactive pedagogical techniques to engage students and enhance the student experience in the classroom.
* Implement relevant, creative, and effective teaching methodologies and tool utilization (including the appropriate and professional use of AI) to engage learners and inspire original thinking, problem solving, global sustainability, professional communications, ethics, and entrepreneurial mindset
* Assess student learning based on institutional outcomes, course goals and objectives in an unbiased, timely, and respectful manner.
* Hold regularly scheduled office hours (minimum of one hour per week for each three semester credit hour course) and be available to students on a regular basis.
* Work collaboratively with other faculty members, departments, and staff to develop a meaningful experience for students.
* Embrace education for diverse, global, and multi-cultural students.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* An earned master's degree from an institutionally (i.e., regionally) accredited college/university in psychology, sociology, intercultural studies, or a related discipline, with at least 18 graduate semester credits in relevant coursework.
* One to three years of undergraduate teaching experience with undergraduate cross cultural relations coursework (as specified above) at the university/college level.
* One to three years of professional experience in cross cultural relations.
* Proficiency working with standard office, learning management, AI, videoconferencing, and mobile applications.
* Ability to embrace The Cleary Mind as the University's approach to building each student's professional skills required by the workforce and job market.
* Ability to apply professional experiences to inform and inspire students about real-world projects, situations, and challenges.
