Cons of working at Faherty Brand

In my opinion, I believe that Faherty as an employer should prioritize listening to the feedback provided by the associates and stores team instead of only relying on the opinions of high salary retail and HR employees. By doing so, the company can gain valuable insights into the actual state of their business operations and make necessary changes to improve their overall performance. Unfortunately, as it stands, the company's future looks bleak as there seems to be a lack of consideration for the opinions of those who are actually on the front lines, dealing with the day-to-day operations of the business. I strongly advise that Faherty takes a step back and reconsiders their approach to employee feedback if they wish to remain competitive and successful in the long run.

Pros of working at Faherty Brand

Terrible company- terrible management! In the aftermath of COVID, the company had a great strategy of prioritizing its people and embracing its Core Values. This approach led to happy owners, happy employees, and happy numbers. However, it seems that those happier times are now a thing of the past. The company's performance has been on the decline, and its people-centric culture seems to have been lost along the way. It's quite disheartening to see the company's current state, especially considering the strides it has made in the past.I would like to share my experience with a company I used to work for. Unfortunately, the management there was terrible and they didn't seem to care about their employees. The upper management on the retail side only cared about their titles and were very unauthentic and unprofessional. They were not supportive of their employees and did not offer any opportunities for growth or development. What was even more frustrating was that the company laid off highly talented and motivated individuals and kept absolutely incompetent people. They didn't care about their employees' needs and only looked for reasons to fire people. If some of the upper management just didn't like you, they would find or make a reason to let you go. The HR management was a joke. It seemed like their main responsibility was to build a case against everyone for an easy termination when the time came. They didn't take the time to listen to employees' concerns and were not helpful in resolving any issues. Overall, my time at this company was a disappointment. The lack of support and the unfair treatment of employees by upper management and HR made it a toxic work environment. In my opinion, I believe that Faherty as an employer should prioritize listening to the feedback provided by the associates and stores team instead of only relying on the opinions of high salary retail and HR employees.
