Position Title: Supported Living Specialist (SLS)
SUMMARY:
The Supported Living Specialist provides and/or coordinates supports that are necessary to enable FRA participants to live as independently as possible. This includes assisting in the planning, implementing and documenting of the Plans of Care (POC's), ensuring the well-being, safety and quality of life of program participants, providing guidance and training that facilitates independence and recognizing and respecting the rights of the participant.

This position provides operational Command and Control (C2) and technical leadership for adversary IADS replication, Cyber Non-Kinetic Effects (CNKE), decoy systems, and missile launch visual aids during daily training and Major Flying Exercises (MFEs).
The GODFATHER SME is responsible for planning, execution, analysis, and reporting of IADS training in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Government direction, and current adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage all phases of IADS training operations, including scheduling training assets, scenario development, mission planning, execution, and post-mission analysis and reporting.
Provide operational Command and Control of JPARC IADS, CNKE, MANPADS, decoy systems, missile launch visual aids, UMTE, and YETI systems during daily training and MFEs.
Participate in exercise planning conferences and advise Government personnel on threat replication capabilities and employment to meet aircrew and mission training objectives.
Direct and control threat engagements utilizing C2, SA/GCI, ACTS, TSPI, DIADS, and threat video systems.
Maintain proficiency in adversary IADS engagement tactics and execute scenarios consistent with AFTTP 3-1 Threat Guides and applicable Shot-Kill Doctrine.
Conduct real-time (as required) and post-mission engagement analysis and assign Probability of Kill (PK) ratings using modeling tools such as ESAMS and J-ACE.
Monitor, document, and account for HARM engagements, jamming effects, and CNKE employment during training execution.
Prepare and maintain mission documentation, shot and engagement summaries, and analytical products using electronic media (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
Debrief participating aircrew and exercise leadership on sortie, package, and mission effectiveness.
Assist the Program Manager in supervising contractual performance and ensuring compliance with company Quality Control and Safety Programs.
Coordinate with Government customers, SAM-1, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure mission success.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

Demonstrated leadership experience supporting large-scale training operations or exercises.
Required Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge of global SAM and AAA weapon systems, capabilities, limitations, and adversary employment tactics.
Knowledge of Integrated Air Defense Systems, command and control structures, and weapon system operator procedures.
Experience operating or supporting ACTS, DIADS, TSPI, SA/GCI, C2, and threat video systems.
Familiarity with electronic countermeasures, HARM employment, jamming effects, and CNKE concepts.
Experience supporting joint, combined, or large-force training exercises.
Experience with constructive simulation and Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC-IA) environments preferred.

Qualifications
The Air Force Civilian Service is pleased to announce the Air Force Premier College Summer Intern Program. Students in their junior year of a full-time baccalaureate program will be able to apply for a full-time paid summer internship lasting 10-12 weeks during the summer session prior to their senior year. Any individual who meets the following may apply for the DHA Post-Secondary Student Program:
(1) Currently enrolled, and in good academic standing in a full-time program, at a public or other non-profit institution of higher education; AND
(2) Making satisfactory progress toward receipt of a baccalaureate; AND
(3) Completed at least one year of the degree program.
You may be non-competitively converted to a permanent appointment within the PALACE Acquire (PAQ)/Copper Cap (COP) or a similar Program. The target grade of the conversion could be above GS-11.
