ABOUT THE POSITION The Sales Representative will be responsible for working with customers and technicians on a day-to-day basis to generate new business, maintain existing accounts, and increase sales and market share through the use of various channels. Including forecasting, quoting, order writing ups, and meeting or exceeding all targets established in the designated territories. This is a full-time position out of our office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain and grow business within the entire Northern WI Sales Territory (generally defined as Manitowoc County, Wood County, Clark County, Iron County, Marinette County, and surrounding counties). Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers. Promote and sell division products and services, securing new orders. Effectively demonstrate products and solutions that align with customer needs. Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes for current and prospective customers. Analyze market potential and assess the value of existing and potential customers. Plan and execute a strategic personal sales approach to meet targets. Provide management with regular updates on customer needs, competitive activity, service opportunities, and market trends. Maintain strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and deadlines. Accept and perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President & General Manager. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Valid driver's license. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail. ABOUT THE POSITION As a member of our Training department, the New Hire Trainer will be responsible for assisting newly hired Technicians on the completion of all new hire tasks and responsibilities within our Southern Market. For example, assisting with service van inventory and education on shop stalls and where First Aid Kits are located. Educate our new Technicians on the standard operating procedures (SOP) or the work order lifecycle. Ensure our new Technicians are informed of all company policies within our Employee Handbook, including but not limited to, Attendance and Punctuality, Paid Time Off, Professional Dress and Appearance and Code of Conduct. Promote and educate Fairchild safety policies and procedures such as Near Miss / Accident Reporting. Assist and be a resource to new Technicians throughout their onboarding process and their first 90 days of employee to be a reliable contact to ask questions, voice concerns and be a member of the team to assist in their success within our Fairchild Team. ABOUT THE POSITION As a Fairchild Tire Technician, you will be traveling throughout our Fairchild Southern Market servicing Fairchild customers by dismounting and mounting all types of tires. We work on LP, diesel and electric forklifts, scissor, and boom lifts and much more. This position will be given a company owned vehicle to complete the essential duties and responsibilities of the position; this position requires a valid and good standing driver's license. This position requires 40 hours work week with flex scheduling which gives flexibility to allow the employee to determine work shift for both daily and weekly hours; however, the Tire Technician must ensure the needs of customers remains a priority. This is a full-time position reporting out of our Menomonee Falls, WI branch. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work schedule by list of priority of work orders given; responsible of managing work schedule and work orders while ensuring customers remain a priority. Operates a mobile tire truck, while abiding by Department of Transportations (DOT) rules and regulations; drives to various customer job sites to install tires. Practices standard safety protocols when removing, rolling, and positioning tires on the press. Adjusts, sets up, and operates the tire press to press tires and hubs together and assembles other components per specifications. Dismounts and mounts tires of different types; removes lugs or fasteners from wheels and/or rims and removes tire assembly. Responsible for assisting with loading and unloading tires. Communicates with customers on when and where equipment is to be taken out of service to install new tires. Informs customer work is complete and has customer sign paperwork after verifying all information in correct. Maintains and keeps record of inventory levels for warehouse in mobile tire truck. Monitors and keeps track of scheduled maintenance intervals and sends truck in for maintenance. Adequately cleans and maintains service equipment, mobile truck, and warehouse. Participates in job related training, including supporting the safety program and its policies and procedures. ABOUT THE POSITION Position requires you to repair and maintain electric, propane, CNG, diesel lift trucks and customer equipment. Qualified applicants will have a mechanical background. Experience in forklift repair and maintenance is required. Accepting applicants with background in heavy, agriculture or construction equipment. Recent graduates from technical schools with education in automotive and/or diesel repair are strongly encouraged to apply. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accepts repair orders as assigned by Service Manager, Service Dispatch or assigned person. Servicing in the the following area: Green Bay, Manitowoc, WI. Coordinate with Service office staff in communicating necessary repairs to customer and obtains approvals. Reads work orders, observes and listens to truck in operation to determine/diagnose malfunction or problem(s). Offers solutions to meet customer specifications. Provides estimates when appropriate. Repair, service, recondition or assemble equipment as approved by the customer/Service Manager. Obtains necessary parts working cooperatively with Parts department staff. Makes mechanical repairs to equipment after a complete inspection and analysis of breakdown has been completed. Records complete repair description on work order, including correct model and serial number of equipment and records hour meter reading. Obtains signature from customer and communicates with them on repair needs or work that was completed. Examines protective guards, loose bolts, specified safety devices on truck and makes adjustments. Lubricates moving parts and drives repaired truck to verify conformance to specifications. Maintains professional image of self and cleanliness of van (externally and internally) at all times. Maintains and operates shop equipment and tools. Notifies Service Manager or Supervisor of safety issues and/or accidents immediately. Performs quality work as quickly and professional as possible. Promotes marketing efforts to drive parts, service, equipment and rental sales. Completes service forms and submit directly to Service department daily via work tablet. Requires to be on-call for emergency repairs and maintenance outside of regular business hours, ensuring timely response to service requests as needed. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). 3+ years' of mechanic experience and/or education relating to the position. Basic knowledge of computer and internet software. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety manual, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of an organization. Lifting- raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally form position-to-position. Grasping- applying pressure to an object with fingers and palm. Talking- Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. Hearing- Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication. Occasional physical activity of the position: Climbing- ascending or descending. Balancing- maintaining body equilibrium. Fingering- perceiving attributes of objects by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips. The visual acuity requirements: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines. The worker is required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as performing mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature. The conditions the worker will be submitted to in this position: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside. The worker is subject to extreme cold: Temperatures typically below 32 degrees for period of more than one hour. Worker may also be subject to other environmental conditions such as wind and humidity. The worker is subject to extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Worker may also be subject to other environmental conditions such as wind and humidity. The worker is subject to noise: There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level. The worker is subject to hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicle, electrical current, exposure to high heat and exposure to chemicals. The worker is subject to atmospheric conditions: one or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin; fumes, orders, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. The worker is occasionally required to function in narrow aisles or passageways. The worker may be subject to oils: there is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
