The people there , working together for the cause, to supply the people with great water, to use and drink.
Nothing, for 27 years, it was great place to work ( long hours with water main breaks at all hours, (day & night). and the retirement great too. I've been retired 19 years now. I hope to live to be 100 years old. LOL

Sometimes we work all night, with water mains breaks, some times, all day and all night. But that was part of the job.
The pay was great, when I retired, I have 2000 hours of sick leave and 413 of annul They gave me time service for my Sick leave (2000) Hours and time service for my annual leave, (4013), but, they paid me dollar for dollar for my annual leave. My first check was a BIG ONE. Over the next 19 years I've get a raise every year. But now I make, what I'm Worth .LOL I hope to live to be a 100. LOL
Everybody working together, for a coming goal.
They paid me to much money, (I enjoy working there.)
When I retired on (June 30, 2000, after 27 years) I had 1 year of (Sick leave) and 400 hours of (annual leave). They gave me time service for my sick leave and time service for my annual, but, they paid me Dollar for Dollar for my annual. I got a big old fat check ( the first check) . Now I get a check every month, it more money than I can spend, but my wife keep trying to.
