In 1966, Fairfield Memorial Hospital announced its expansion project, which consisted of attached offices adjoining the hospital, now known as the Mattie B. Rinard Building.
On July 1, 1968, Fairfield Memorial Hospital introduced Way-Fair to the community.
In 1975, Fairfield Memorial Hospital opened its Intensive Care Unit.
In 1998, Fairfield Memorial Hospital completed a $4.1 million expansion project.
In August 2008, FMH opened Horizon Healthcare, a Certified Hospital Based-Rural Health Clinic, in a temporary building until the construction of the new FMH Medical Arts Complex was complete.
In May 2011, FMH opened the Medical Arts Complex, a 25,468 square foot facility, which includes Horizon Healthcare, specialist suites, board room, and community/education rooms.
