This includes intake, cash application, patient call center management, and strategic oversight of reimbursement processes. The director will implement strategies to provide excellent customer experience and help assure the overall health of the revenue cycle. The role is responsible for continuous improvement, performance monitoring through KPIs and dashboards, and the implementation of strategic objectives to ensure operational success. They will align with operations to ensure continuity and the management of the overall business. This is a strategic and evolving role, where ideation and implementation will be critical, including evaluating and integrating AI tools to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness. For external customers, they will provide consulting, and subject matter expertise. For external partnerships, where Fairview is performing RCM services, they will communicate and present both findings, area of improvement, and periodic business review sessions. The Life Enrichment Director develops, plans, implements, and evaluates the life enrichment programming which provides for the optimization of resident physical, psychosocial, spiritual and cognitive well-being. Life Enrichment Directors help bring to life Ebenezer's cornerstones: Life Long Learning, Dimensions Program for Dementia Care, Crafted Culinary, Spiritual Care, Wellness, and Intergenerational Programming. This full-time role includes: * Day shift; 8:30am - 5:00pm * Weekends as needed * New early wage access! Responsibilities: * Develops program and activities reflective of resident interests: * Assesses resident areas of interest and need. Designs and implements programs to meet identified psychosocial needs of residents. Develops activity care plan based on resident areas of interest and needs and tracks resident engagement. Documents as required. * Ensures, through observation and evaluation, that residents maintain a high level of engagement and independence. * Plans, conducts and/or coordinates activities and special events. * Orders and maintains supplies needed for activities. * Encourages resident participation. * Communicates and coordinates events in conjunction with other facility activities. * Hires, trains, and supervises Life Enrichment Assistants. Assists in meeting the psychosocial needs of residents: * Promotes independence of residents by offering choices and encouraging self-help skills. * Encourages and assists residents in developing the confidence to participate in group activities. * Assists residents in developing relationships and effectively socializing. * Reports change in resident attitude, mood or physical status to appropriate staff. * Communicates with family members as appropriate. * Evaluates activity care plan ensuring that activities are completed appropriately and are suitable to reach and maintain the highest level of engagement and independence. * Provides new resident orientation/assessment to determine interests/needs to design appropriate activity care plan. Coordinates community volunteers: * Adheres to volunteer onboarding policies and procedures. * Develops and maintains system to effectively utilize volunteers to enhance programs designed to meet psychosocial needs of residents. * Recruits, trains and assigns volunteers within the building. * Provides volunteer recognition for work performed. * Assesses need for volunteer services and assigns as needed. * Supervises volunteers to maintain a high quality of service. * Develops relationships with local organizations and promotes their involvement with the facility. Drives Ebenezer van/bus for resident outings: * Reviews and completes Vehicle Requirements - Transporting Residents Checklist prior to each resident outing. * Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks performed throughout the driving period. * Responsible for the safety and welfare of passengers. * Practices sound, safe judgment when performing transportation services including but not limited to fire/disaster procedures and infection control procedures. * Recognizes and acts appropriately on safety hazards and incidents. * Follows all laws with regard to operating a motor vehicle. * Immediately reports any traffic violations or accidents.
