Fairview Park City Schools company history timeline

1929

Fairview High School opened in January 1929.

The school was formally dedicated on January 8, 1929.

1931

These students were the first to graduate from Fairview High School on June 1, 1931.

1948

The first addition to the high school was built in 1948 to accommodate a growing enrollment and an expanding curriculum.

1961

The high school swimming pool opened in June 1961.

1964

In 1964, the science wing saw expansion with the addition of seven classrooms and a planetarium.

1992

The Fairview Park Museum and Archives was established in 1992 by the Fairview Park Historical Society, a community organization that serves as stewards of the history of Fairview Park.
