Our Railroad Signal Technician position consists of daily inspections for highway grade crossing signal systems & wayside signaling systems. The area of travel is subject to change, but regardless of the location, the work type will remain the same. All work will consist of following mandatory Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) regulations. Ideal candidates would have experience maintaining, servicing, installing, troubleshooting signal system circuitry and components. Key traits for this position would encompass a positive attitude, ability to travel, mechanical aptitude, organization, self-starting personality.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2-5 years Railroad Signal Maintenance. Successful completion of Hot Box and Signal Apprentice Training Program through Signal Training Solutions or prior experience required.
Travel: Up to 100%
Work Schedule: Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

GRS Safety Lead, Global Road Safety - Field Execution

In this role, you will serve as your region's road safety subject matter expert (SME) and the GRS Field Execution organization's primary representative. As you work with local teams to manage OTR safety, you will serve as the primary link between GRS customers and the greater GRS organization. You'll ensure GRS standards and procedures are practical and drive compliance, reduce risk, and standardize incident management through continuous improvement, side by side relationships with operations to identify opportunities, as well as soliciting feedback and input from customers and partners.
This role will directly contribute to the reduction of operational road safety risks, development of safety excellence across the regional network, creation and maintenance of a strong safety culture and the improvement of transportation safety metrics and outcomes.
Work in an environment subject to variable temperatures and weather (all operations with OTR interactions, include outside loading areas). Work environment will consist of a mix of office-based work and field visits to various facilities, can expect at least 50% travel required within the assigned region.

Safety Operations Management: Lead day-to-day OTR safety operations across the regional network, ensuring consistent implementation of safety standards. Serve as the primary regional safety resource for operations teams, third party carriers, and transportation teams. Purpose
Assist an interdisciplinary research team in the Bipolar Disorder Center / Almeida lab at Dell Medical School, Department of Psychiatry and Behavior Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin with collecting and analyzing psychological and neuroimaging measures for the bipolar and major depressive disorder population.
Responsibilities
Develop, collect, conduct, and analyze research projects including psychological measures using standard interviews (self-report and/or clinician based) and neuroimaging measures as part of a team of faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate assistants.
Assist with data entry and database management.
Assist with IRB submission & management
Review medical records and conduct screenings for study recruitment. Execute data collection procedure and assessment and assist with subject recruitment, including obtaining consent of research subjects.
Help with subject management, scheduling and reimbursement. Provide exceptional support to research subjects via phone, email, etc.
Assist with manuscripts and publications (authorship will depend on candidate's initiative).

Required Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Responsibilities
Machine operation involves loading and tending runs of parts, or performing one-step operations on individual parts
Positions and secures tools in holding device, machine tables, chuck, centers, and fixtures
Verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications
Reads blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts for such specifications as dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions
Understand and perform to all quality regulations, standards and policies, including but not limited to ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003. Follow work procedures and ensure highest level of quality

Microsoft Suite knowledge with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills is preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists members of the Billing Team with billing support items, such as pulling GMP invoice backup, generating and collecting lien waivers, and invoicing and payment tracking.
Assists Billing Manager and Billing Assistant Manager with electronic filling, organization, and tracking of billing department items.
Assists Budget Forms mailbox.
Assists with entering Change Order and Startpoint budgets.
Assists with Lien Waiver mailbox.
Assists with filing and distributing lien waivers and other mail.
Assists with PO Billing mailbox.
Distributes POs to appropriate team members.
Reviews contract specifications to determine all pertinent billing and compliance information.
Works with various customer billing portals.
Assists with Billing Team member vacation coverage.
Acts as liaison between internal and external customers to resolve billing issues.
Prioritizes, organizes, and multi-tasks to meet multiple deadlines that are within company expectations.
Works with sensitive materials and information.
Problem solves and meets daily challenges.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
