Conduct continuous, precise quality checks on formed, fabricated, and welded parts using precision measuring tools. Identify, diagnose, and correct common defects, such as forming issues (twisting, crowning) and welding flaws (porosity, undercut, inadequate penetration). Complete required production reports, quality checks, and inspection logs accurately and timely. Works within a warehouse bench assembly environment. Bolts, clamps, and tack welds parts to secure in position for welding. May assemble parts by bolting and riveting. Performs material handling duties. Maintains compliance with company policies. Maintains compliance with all OSHA, and company safety requirements. Cleans and maintains tools, test equipment, and work area. Attends company meetings as required by supervisor. Identify ways to improve processes and participate in implementing those improvements. Adhere to 5S principles ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Keen attention to detail to ensure the highest quality and zero defects. Able to perform repetitive tasks for an extended period of time. Works under moderate supervision. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, with emphasis on control systems, Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent experience. Experience: 3+ years experience related to SCADA commissioning, Electrical Power Monitoring Systems; Building Automation Systems and/or Systems Integration. Experience with electrical fundamentals as well as with electrical equipment. Must have a valid driver's license and good driving history. Experience working around electrical equipment such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, etc. Thorough understanding of power generation, power distribution, and power quality concepts. Good understanding of industry-standard communication protocols with an emphasis on Modbus, IEC 61850, RS485, and BACnet. Knowledgeable in computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware. Knowledgeable in computer programming languages (Visual Basic, C/C++, Java, Python, etc.), databases (SQL), and HTML development. HMI configuration experience, including graphical screen development. Direct experience with software such as Power Monitoring Expert, Power SCADA Expert, and Inductive Ignition. Responsibilities for this position include performing software installation, customization, and start-up services; start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical power monitoring equipment; device communications; and providing customer training for the commissioned system. Consulting with customers to determine system operation requirements. Installation and upgrading of EPMS software. Installing, configuring, commissioning Schneider Electric, Induction software and 3rd party hardware. Performing start-up services and system troubleshooting. Documenting the as-built system. Ability to technically troubleshoot network communications (IP Addresses and being able to find devices on a network). Interpret contract specifications and electrical (or mechanical) drawings. Coordination of equipment/system shop drawings and coordination drawings and respective inspections. Maintain the QA/QC log and project QA/QC plan. Responsible to actively manage correction of non- compliance activities in an efficient manner. Supports in the overall request for proposal process to include development of bid packages, collection of proposals, overview of results, and generation of subcontractor / vendor agreements for review. Prepare and maintain project documentation and control, including status reports and updates Supports and or updates the project schedules Supports and or leads the project closeout process, to include acquiring, review and submission of all required documentation. Supports the overall process related to project documentation required to meet any applicable Grants or Incentives for a specific project. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
