The Opportunity: Lead National Commercial Roofing Projects
A leading national full-service commercial roofing company is seeking highly experienced and safety-focused Field Superintendents to join our team in the Atlanta and Charlotte markets. This is a critical leadership role that combines hands-on project supervision with essential administrative reporting, driving the successful execution of large-scale production and service roofing projects across the country.

What You Will Own:
Project Supervision: Lead and supervise commercial roofing projects (production and service), ensuring quality installation from sunrise to sunset (and occasionally night shifts, 10 PM-11 AM).
Site Management: Oversee material availability, ensure strict safety compliance (OSHA 30 required/obtainable), and manage 2-3 projects simultaneously (for tenured candidates).
Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact through daily email communication with clients and tenants. Complete detailed daily reporting via our app (photos, material counts, site updates).
Inspections & Support: Perform site inspections, ladder assists, and directly supervise large repairs.
The High-Travel Commitment:
Extensive Travel: This role requires extensive, multi-week travel commitment (e.g., 3 weeks on-site, a weekend home, then back out).
All Expenses Covered: All travel expenses are covered by the company, including per diem, hotel, and food costs.
Tools Provided: You will receive a company vehicle, company phone, and company credit card for operational use.
Compensation & Growth:
Competitive Salary: $60,000-$75,000/year for candidates with 7+ years of experience. Highly experienced candidates (20+ years) can exceed $90,000/year.
Performance Bonus: Eligibility for a performance-based bonus program after a 90-day trial period.

• Create SOW documents and reports for the client
• Attend regular update meetings with Project Managers and the client
• Create supporting documents for processes
• QC drawings for agency requirements
• Develop processes for Permit preparation and submittal
• Coordinate with utilities service providers and government jurisdictions
• Forecast submittal, resubmittals and approvals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Associate or bachelor's degree is preferred in related field. Commensurate experience will be considered.
Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in permit engineering, telecom engineering or related fields.
• Experience in various GIS and/or AutoCAD and Google Earth mapping software is required.
• Experience in creating and managing permit tracking solutions and sheets.
• Experience in the surrounding Chicago area is preferred.

Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, standards, codes, and guidance
DoD construction experience and experience as a Site Superintendent of projects in remote and/or austere environments is desirable
API 653 certification and/or API 570 desirable
KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
Must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate work requirements with various staff and subcontractors
Able to communicate both written and verbally in English

* Conduct routine site safety inspections to ensure project sites are kept clear of hazards and proper safety protocols are followed
* Review JHA's and work plans with Project Manager and Foreman
* Coordinate manpower and equipment needs with Trade Superintendents
* Visit and maintain relationships with owners' representatives and ensure proper notification is given for inspections
* Assist Project Managers and Project Engineers with daily productions and costs
* Coordinate and track subcontractor daily activities, manpower, and safety
* Ensure Foreman are completing daily paperwork requires accurately
* Schedule all project material needs through DCS Dispatch
* Schedule all project equipment and manpower needs through Trade Superintendent
* Take photos of project progress and send to PM/PE to be saved in appropriate project folder
* Verify SWPPP and Dust needs are completed with accuracy
* Coordinate all new hires, crew needs, disciplinary actions, and terminations with Trade Superintendent and Field Operations Manager
* Participate in project kickoff meetings when assigned to a new project
* Assist PM/PEs with change orders for new or changes in scope of work
* Coordinate and maintain all AZ 811 (Bluestake) utility locates
* Assist PM/PEs with subcontractor pre-con meetings
* Responsible for ensuring projects are following company safety policies and OSHA safety standards
* Prepare and submit all reports such as theft, utility hits and incidents
* Inventory all shipments prior to unloading from supplier
* Inventory and document all rental equipment before it is returned (inspect and document prior to taking possession
REQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints
* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively through all mediums to staff, management, peers, clients, business partners
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to act confidently and decisively
* Team leader with excellent communication skills and ability to handle and resolve conflicts effectively
* Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college, technical school, or university in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or equivalent experience in a similar construction position
* A minimum of 7 years of construction related experience with a general contractor performing underground wet utility installation, concrete, and/or grading and paving work.
* Basic computer skills are required
* Possess a thorough understanding or job cost reports
* Self-perform construction management experience
* Knowledge of CPM Project Scheduling, MS Office Suite, including MS Project
* Knowledge of crew configurations and labor productions
* Understanding of MAG, MCDOT, ADOT, MCAQD, ADEQ and Greater Phoenix Municipal Standards
* Knowledge of Arizona Heavy Civil market
* Understanding of Bluestake

Establish and maintain field office operations for the project.
Develop and implement site logistics plan, including utilities, parking, staging, and material storage.
