Position Summary:
Falck is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy People & Culture Intern to join our team in Alameda County. Unlike traditional HR internships, this role is heavily focused on the technical and analytical side of Human Resources.
You will support the P&C team by managing data integrity, creating reports, and optimizing workflows using Microsoft Excel and other computer applications. This is an ideal opportunity for a student or recent graduate who loves data and wants to apply technical skills to real-world workforce management in a fast-paced healthcare/EMS environment.

1. Data Management & Reporting

Generate weekly and monthly reports regarding headcount, turnover, overtime, and certification compliance (e.g., EMT/Paramedic licenses).
Assist in converting raw data into digestible dashboards and visual charts for leadership reviews.
2. Excel & Process Optimization
Utilize Excel to clean, merge, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources (Time & Attendance, Payroll, HRIS).
Create templates and macros to automate repetitive administrative tasks.
Perform data audits using logical functions to identify discrepancies in employee files or payroll records.
3. Systems Support
Act as a first-level support resource for employees navigating internal HR portals and apps.
Assist with the digital onboarding process, ensuring all electronic I-9s and background checks are processed correctly in the system.
Collaborate with the scheduling and payroll teams to reconcile hours worked against system logs.
Qualifications and skills:
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's degree program (Business Administration, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or Information Systems).
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns and errors in data.
High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information.
Ability to work on-site at our Alameda operation.
Required Technical Skills
We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable with technology and eager to leverage it to solve problems.

Position Summary:

Operates the emergency vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
Maintains vehicles and stations in a clean and presentable manner at all times. The employee shall strive to exceed Falck USA expectations for cleanliness of the vehicles and stations.
Responds to instructions from dispatcher and drives specially equipped emergency vehicles to specified locations.
Develops and strives to achieve personal and professional goals established by the employee. Utilizes all resources available to achieve personal and professional goals.
Maintains communications equipment, medical equipment and supplies in accordance with applicable standards.

The PE Teacher will engage students in core physical education classes. This role is vital in helping students develop lifelong habits of health, fitness, and wellness through structured physical activity and positive competition.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in applicable subject matter with other degree)
Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree from an accredited college or university in subject matter or education
* 2+ years teaching/education experience
Essential Functions:
Prepare and facilitate subject and grade specific lesson plans
Provide subject instruction on a higher level than grade-standard in an interactive learning environment to achieve exceptional results for all students
