Duties/Responsibilities: Prepares surfaces by scraping, using commercial paint removers and filling cracks and holes. Erects scaffold, ladders and safety barriers in line with local mechanical “safe work procedures.” Places drop cloths to protect equipment and to cover floors. Observes machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects of deviations from standards and adjusts as necessary. Disassembles, cleans, and reassembles sprayers and power equipment using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties. Performs interior and exterior painting, including finishing where required. Reviews shop drawings Maintains shop equipment. Follows Falcon Structures' policies and procedures, health and safety standards and complies with appropriate building codes. Takes safety classes. Charges to correct projects.
