Qualifications

Job Overview
Receives, records service request orders from customers and the Government and inputs information into the computer system to generate work order. Responsible for ensuring all pertinent information i.e., equipment, locations, work order number, customer information, etc., are accurately received and entered database system generating work order and updates as necessary.

Essential Duties & Job Function:
* Verifies caller's name, address, and telephone number.
* Ensures facility number and point of contact is recorded with the telephone number.
* Should request location of the problem (i.e., floor, ceiling, corner of building, etc.).
* Requests information regarding specific problems related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, carpentry, electrical, pest control, kitchen equipment/appliances and plumbing to provide detailed work scope for the craftsman.
* Inputs/records information into the computer system and distributes accordingly, ensuring customer service cards, etc., are included with work order.
* Handles all incoming calls and dispatches emergency or urgent work requests via radio or telephone system.
* Notifies Fire Department, Safety and/or Quality Control when necessary.
* Make appointments with requestors for service crews when needed.
* Prepares retrieval/summary reports as required by management to include daily delinquent work order and daily work order issue reports.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to the Maintenance Operations Manager/Maintenance Manager/Site Manager for the supervision of organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft under contract to Amentum at NAS Fallon, NV. Direct, coordinate and monitor all maintenance/material actions necessary to retain or restore aircraft, material, equipment, or components to a serviceable condition with a minimum expenditure of resources in the most efficient practical manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
1) The Maintenance Supervisor shall have an in-depth working knowledge of the CNAFINST 4790.2 Series and all applicable T/M/S technical publications which apply to applicable T/M/S specific aircraft as well have a working knowledge of the Special Inspections, Technical Directives, Aircraft Configuration requirements for flight operations.
2) These personnel must have a complete understanding of the requirements to Release Aircraft Safe for Flight, monitor maintenance SCIR documentation via the NALCOMIS/OOMA system, review Aircraft Weight and Balance forms for accuracy, direct scheduled/unscheduled maintenance actions to meet operational tasking identified by the government/flight schedule, ensure brief to aircrew prior to Functional Check Flights (FCF), review aircrew documentation of aircraft FCF performance, authorize cannibalization, coordinate Depot Level Inspection/Repair actions, assign workload priorities, manage awaiting maintenance and material status, manage T/M/S Aircraft configuration, screen, liaison with Quality Assurance, notify Govt. Oversight QAR?s of all Flight Critical, Safety of Flight, and mandatory QA inspections, monitor high time components, establish supply priorities, and coordinate work center maintenance tasking to meet daily Flight Schedule and Ground Test Requirements.
3) Ensures that the maintenance performed conforms to requirements, manufacturers' specifications, company policy, or acceptable standards recognized by the Navy. Ensures work areas are maintained in a neat and orderly manner and that all safety rules and regulations are observed.
4) Provide direct supervision, leadership and management of the day-to-day operations of assigned work groups. Supervises and schedules personnel so they efficiently and effectively meet work requirements to protect against costly duplication of labor. Ensures employees use proper procedures, methods and practices in the performance of their duties.
5) Performs any other maintenance duties or Supervisory functions that may be identified by senior management as appropriate. Position regularly requires standing, walking, use of hands and fingers to handle, grip or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and to talk or hear. Able to work in outside weather conditions on aircraft flight line/ramp. Works with other groups or personnel to resolve problems.
6) Instructs and assists in training of lower-level employees in proper work methods and performance of their job duties.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Shall have (2 years as a Naval Maintenance Control Chief/Leading Petty Officer billet with supporting USN/USMC/USCG documentation).
Shall possess an extensive background in the field of aircraft maintenance and material support with a minimum of 15 years experience with 10 years of 15 years in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification. Of the 10 years experience in aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification, 6 years shall be in a supervisory position that included responsibility for assigning program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts.
Must have experience supervising daily flight operations personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
Must be knowledgeable of technical directives and CNAFINST 4790.2 Series; be knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures; possess a working knowledge of applicable aircraft and shall have worked a minimum of one year in a maintenance/production control position.
Shall have experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy.
Must be able to work all assigned shifts & schedules
Mus have a valid drivers license
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

· Directly lead, manage, coach, & develop your direct report leadership team in accordance with company policies and procedures
· Conduct performance reviews and coaching for your leadership team and front-line associates (directly and indirectly lead up to ~60 employees that are within departmental hierarchy)
· Ensure your leadership team has the training, tools and support to effectively manage front-line associates
· Responsible for directly overseeing 1+ operational support/admin functions such as Quality, Cycle Count, International Shipping, and/or Inbound processes; provide people leadership to clerk staff within those functions
· Manage staffing levels for value stream or shift, partnering with Human resources to ensure current and future appropriate levels
· Provide ongoing mentorship, cross-training, and development in all areas of your department
· Responsible for interviewing, selecting, and hiring warehouse associates in partnership with broader site leadership team
· Support and coach your direct report leadership team with employee relations and corrective action issues
· Communicate to all levels of the organization on topics of daily goals, performance feedback, departmental, organization and company initiatives
· Effectively communicate in an accurate and timely manner to both internal and external customers, including senior management
**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:**
· Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Operations or Supply Chain Management, Engineering or other related field; Master's degree preferred
· 3+ years of progressive leadership experience required; previous experience in a warehouse or operations environment required
· Deep knowledge of distribution: logistics, fulfillment, operations, and facilities · Strong track record of leading leaders; developing talent and empowering them to be successful
· Talented communicator, capable of communicating complex messages to different levels of an organization with proven results
· Proven experience as a change agent and ability to establish a strong culture around continuous improvement, safety, quality and delivery
· Ability to identify and understand complex issues, analyze and compare data, and draw conclusions as a result of analysis
· Successful examples of managing multiple projects and priorities
· Proven track record of high-end performance under pressure, addressing stressful situations in a manner that is professional, and measured
· Ability to utilize interpersonal skills to help build a cohesive team and facilitate the completion of team goals

An employee who is a Journeyman and who performs all classes of overhead and underground transmission and distribution line work and the construction, erection and maintenance of substations when assigned to a crew under the direction of a Working Foreman or Supervisor of higher grade, and who is qualified by training and knowledge of underground circuits, substations, and apparatus to test, maintain, and install duct line, cable, conduits, risers, Company owned customer outdoor lighting equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, and associated equipment, substation equipment and circuits. Must be qualified to perform switching.
Will make connections to underground circuits and substation feeder installations as well as making underground connections on customer services.

Background of apprenticeship training and experience must be such as to qualify him to perform these duties with skill and efficiency. May be assigned to work with and under general direction of a Troubleman and when so assigned, the type of work he performs and the method of supervision shall be governed by the rules with respect to the Troubleman classification. A Lineman may be assigned temporarily to work apart from a crew either alone or as a member of a two man unit without supervision, doing work which shall include:
1. Framing poles.
2. Preassembling material.
3. Patrolling and inspecting pole and tower lines.
4. Testing and inspecting poles.
5. Repairing risers and ground mouldings.
6. Pulling slack in anchor guys.
7. Replacing guy guards.
8. Splicing and terminating non leaded and leaded underground cables.
9. Install and splice fiber optic cable and communications.
A Lineman may be assigned temporarily to work apart from a crew as a member of a two man unit, without supervision, when the second man in such unit is a one year Apprentice Lineman or higher, doing work which shall include:

1. Taking primary distribution voltage readings.
2. Installing Company owned customer outdoor lighting service equipment and street fixtures, including making connections on circuits with voltage below 750 volts.

Using special design lift equipment, or an aerial bucket, a Lineman may work apart from a crew as a two man unit, without supervision, when the second man in such unit is a one year Apprentice Lineman or higher, doing work which shall include:
1. Setting and replacing service poles.
2. Setting street light poles and outdoor lighting service poles not to exceed 40 feet in length.
3. Washing insulators on lines energized up to 60 KV.
When it is necessary to climb through live circuits of 750 volts or more, the other employee in the two man unit shall be a Journeyman Lineman. Is required to drive the line truck and operate the fixed and attached equipment. May be required to keep time cards and material records.
