Job Purpose
To assist the dentist effectively and efficiently in providing dental care to patients and to promote Familia Dental's culture and mission and values.

Responsibilities
Welcome and escort patient in a professional and friendly manner from reception area to and from the treatment areas.
Ensure treatment rooms are equipped and stocked with inventory and re-order when necessary.
Take and record patient's medical and dental histories and vital signs, blood pressure & pulse.
Document/chart all dental procedures performed during each patient visit per Dentist's instructions and legal requirements.
Take and develop dental diagnostic x-rays.
Pour and base diagnostic models and fabricate temporary restorations - as allowed by state law.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials and assist Dentist during dental procedures.
Effectively provide dental education and information to patients to ensure patient awareness of dental health, and oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling).
Notify Office Manager of equipment trouble or general safety concerns
Attend and participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and regular office meetings..
Recognize and be sensitives to patients' emotions
Understand and follow company policy and procedures
Understand and follow state and federal laws related to a dental office
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications/Skill Sets
Exceptional customer/patient service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
Basic computer knowledge and experience with dental management software experience. Denticon experience is preferred.
Ability to work in fast paced, patient-focused environment.
Detail oriented.
Able to carry out written and verbal instructions
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Meet state requirements for DA duties, continuing education, or license; Basic Life Support (BLS), cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate, and radiography certificate
Dental assisting experience is preferred, but not required.
Experience working within healthcare or related field strongly preferred

Responsibilities:
Work under the general supervision and guidance of a dentist
Provide chair side assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations and treatment
Charting during the dental examination
Take and process X-rays
Sterilize and maintain instruments, as well as the Sterilization Area
Set up and break down operatories
Assist with supply inventory and ordering
Maintain a clean and professional office environment
Assist with presenting and/or explaining treatment plans
Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
Work as part of a team with emphasis on communication
Qualifications:
Bilingual - Spanish (Preferred)
Customer Service experience
Healthcare Experience (Preferred)

* Ensure goals and priorities of Doctors and teams are achieved through servant leadership
* Bell Leadership Training every 18-24 months
* Support the Doctor Led, Hygiene Driven, Operations focus philosophy through synergy meetings monthly, team meetings weekly, and strong morning huddles
* Focus and prioritize efforts of team to support Doctor achieving their Top 10 Professional goals
* Create alignment with doctor through daily one on ones, morning huddles and weekly touch points discussing communication, connection and support needed
* Commit to serving as a business partner for the Doctor collaborating and developing quarterly and annual financial goals
* Help Doctor prioritize, plan and block schedule for CE through Doctor Education and Leadership programs

Minimum Qualifications
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree or 3 - 5 years' leadership experience (in a professional office, hospitality, retail, banking, medical, etc.)
* Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment

Physical Requirements:

Job Purpose
To effectively and efficiently check in patients, verify insurance eligibility, confirm and/or reschedule appointments as needed, and collect payments for services provided.

Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients
Answering the phone and scheduling appointments
Maintain patient accounts and records
Knowing and understanding insurance plan rules and protocols and able to follow them
Having patience and ability to be sensitive to patient emotions
Ability to listen to patients and other healthcare workers and follow directions from a Dentist or supervisor.
Verify patient's insurance
Insure all record keeping requirements are fully and accurately completed
Submit claims to insurance companies
Notify Office Manager of equipment trouble or general safety concerns
Attend and participate in morning huddles, chart reviews and regular office meetings..
Follow company policy and procedures
Understand and follow HIPAA regulations, state and Federal OSHA laws and safety standards and maintain confidentiality.
Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications/ Skill Sets
