Family Bridges CEO and leadership

Omaira Gonzalez serves as Chief Operating Officer for Family Bridges, non-for-profit organization, for over 8+ years. Through her leadership she developed the mentoring curriculum, Marriage Champions, in collaboration with grassroots leaders in the Pilsen community. The Family Bridges mentoring program for couples is implemented now in over 15 communities and faith-based institutions. She launched a leadership university in 2017 for staff and management focused on performance improvement, employee relation, diversity, talent retention, and change readiness. Presently it is expanding to include Phoenix, Wisconsin, Dallas and Florida.

Her previous experience has been in the field of banking as a mortgage officer, CSR Manager, and currently is leading a successful Real Estate business with her husband. Though her background has been in business, her heart has always been to serve families and communities.

Omaira’s life’s vision is to mentor, coach and support others in their professional and personal development. She provides mentorship to college students, women leaders, staff and management to strengthen their skills, competencies and capabilities through various vehicles: one-on-one, leadership trainings, and workshops.

Omaira and her husband of 30+ years love adventure, long walks and Broadway shows. With their two kids Yomari and Omar, they enjoy great meals and playing board games.
