A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NURSERY THERAPEUTIC EDUCATION TEACHER
As a Relief Nursery Teacher, you will work and collaborate as a member of a teaching team to provide high-quality, research-based early childhood services to children and families. You will develop, implement, and review activities to provide a developmentally appropriate early childhood program including environment, lesson plans, class schedules, documentation, and referrals to supporting agencies. Teachers use therapeutic and developmentally appropriate approaches to promote skill building and evaluate the progress of all enrolled children. You will provide an ongoing assessment of progress and facilitate transitions into Head Start, community childcare, preschools, or kindergarten as recommended. Through home visits, you will assist families in establishing a positive home environment to promote the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of their children and assist in strengthening the parent-child relationship by improving parenting skills, reducing family stress, and meeting the needs of parents.
QUALIFICATIONS
AA/AS degree from an accredited institution with a major in early childhood education, child development, or related degree OR Step 8 on the Oregon Registry OR Completion of 15 credits (quarter system) OR 10 credits (semester system) of training from an accredited institution in early childhood education OR child development, elementary education, or special education and a commitment to complete a professional development plan within the first year of employment.
At least 6 months of qualifying teaching experience in a certified childcare center or comparable group care program, in the care of infant and/or toddlers/preschool-age children.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Have an Oregon driver's license and acceptable driving record.

DUTIES
Family Outreach and Recruitment
Attend and engage families directly at community events and health fairs in various locations.
Set up and take down of recruitment events which includes giveaways, table, chairs and canopies.
Develop, advertise, and engage families through parent-child playgroups and parenting classes
Develop and maintain key partnerships with organizations and churches that can offer space for parent-child playgroups parenting classes at various locations through-out County.
Work with FBB Development department to develop marketing materials; secure supplies for playgroups, community meeting and events.
Work closely with Enrollment Specialist to coordinate for recruitment.
Function as a liaison between early learning community partners using the universal referral process by developing and maintaining developed by early learning partners.
Identify and implement creative ways to locate, connect, and engage with families.
Track all recruitment activities and events.
Connecting Families
Delivers respectful and immediate support to families in crisis using a strengths-based approach.
Serves as the initial point of contact and service navigator for families, to learn about their needs and connect them to the program that will best fit their needs and interest.
Provide ongoing phone calls and case management to families who are interested but waiting for services; carry small caseload at times.
Maintains regular contact with families until they are connected with an agency for ongoing support.
Facilitation of Parenting Education
Host and facilitate two or more parent education classes, using the research-based curricula such as Circle of Security, Nurturing Parenting, Abriendo Puertas/Opening Doors, Strengthen Families, or Make a Parenting a Pleasure.
Regular communication with parents participating in classes.
Recruit and market parenting classes to community partners and parents.
Track numbers, attendance, retention rates, complete parenting skill ladders after every class.
Other Related Duties
Provides back up to other parent education classes, Parent Leadership and EHS Policy Council, as needed.
Attends in-service training to improve skills, and knowledge of related project
Attend and Participate in relevant meetings including but not limited to site meetings, Intake and Screening Team, community outreach team and All Staff.

Bilingual Mental Health Clinician

Minimum Education & Experience:
Master's or doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field.
Must be able to qualify as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Knowledge and/or experience providing mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and psychotherapy to children and families.
At least 6 months of experience conducting assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning through internships or employment.
Ability to incorporate child-based therapies into treatment is required (as young as infant/toddler)
Bilingual, English/Spanish.
Must be computer proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and record keeping software.
Must have respectful, open, unbiased, accepting attitude toward clients and their families.
Additional Eligibility and Qualifications
Mandated Responder - Report all cases of suspected abuse and neglect in accordance with Oregon statutes and agency policies and procedures.
Must maintain throughout the length of employment an acceptable driving record according to FBB criteria
During the course of employment, a valid auto insurance is required

Must have Pediatric First Aid/ CPR card and Food Handler's card within 30 days of employment.

Documentation of training in "Recognizing and Reporting Suspicions of Child Abuse and Neglect". (Must be a minimum of 2 hours training)
Valid Oregon Driver's license
Proof of current auto insurance.
Language
This positions requires bilingual English/Spanish- must communicate fluently with participants and provide specialized instruction in related curriculum. This may involve translation as well as developing strategies to engage Hispanic speaking personnel in training activities that will encourage engagement and attendance.
Expected Hours of Work
This position requires a flexible schedule to prepare meeting and staffing space, also be flexible to meeting staff needs when setting mental health staffing.
Travel
This position will require travel between sites to meet with staff, perform classroom observations, and attend trainings/meetings

About the Role
The Family Engagement Support Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Family Engagement Program and ensuring smooth, organized, and timely delivery of services to families, staff, and community volunteers. This position collaborates with multiple departments to help plan events, manage donations, support the Parent Leadership Council, and assist with recruitment and outreach efforts.

Program & Engagement Support
Provide responsive communication to families, volunteers, staff, and community members.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OUTREACH HOME VISITOR
As an Outreach Home Visitor, you will provide services to families in the Santiam Canyon area. You will work with families in their homes to establish a positive home environment, to promote healthy child growth and development, and to support the well-being of children and families. You will use therapeutic home visiting skills such as effective praise and reflective dialogue to strengthen parent-child relationships, improve parenting skills, teach effective problem solving, and reduce family stress. QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree with a concentration in early childhood development/related field OR CDA Credential in Early Childhood Education, OR comparable credential (20 quarter credit hours) from an accredited institution with a focus on infant/toddler development, OR equivalent combination of training and course work (ORO Step 8.5) in early childhood development with a focus on Early Childhood Education/Child Development OR Two years of qualifying teaching experience with some college-level coursework in ECE/Child Development
