Expanding Birmingham family dental practice needs an experienced Dental Assistant We are currently hiring for our Fultondale and Homewood locations. Great pay, and bonuses available! Responsibilities
Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
Take vital signs and accurately record medical history
Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures
Assist the dentist during procedures and exams
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies
Qualifications
Strong computer and data entry skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to provide high-quality patient care
Bilingual preferred but not required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Expanding Birmingham family dental practice needs an entry-level Dental Assistant. No experience necessary, we are happy to train the right person . Great pay, and bonuses available! Our office needs an out- going, enthusiastic, team player, that has excellent people skills. If you are a self-motivated people person come join our team. Skills/ education: Applicant must be proficient in computer skills. Our office is paperless- all patient charting is completed on open dental practice management software. Prior dental software not required. Dental software training will be provided if applicant is hired.
Job duties include taking X-rays, sterilizing equipment, cleaning rooms, and providing support to lead dental assistants. Pay will be reevaluated within 90 days, and will increase based on learned skills.
