    Job Description SEASONAL GATE ATTENDANT SALARY: $11.00 per hour GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The overall purpose and general responsibilities Under supervision of the Park Manager, has the responsibility of greeting park guests, providing the public with general information of the park rules and its amenities. This is a temporary non-supervisory position. Accountable for following the park policies and the collection of "conservation fees" and preparing revenue report at end of shift. Exercise proper customer ethics to remedy disgruntled guests. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: General point of contact Reports to Park Manager. Communicates with the public, park guests, gate attendants and other co-workers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The fundamental duties and tasks which define the job Responsible for greeting guests and customers in a proper courteous and professional manner. Provide the public with information regarding the amenities of the parks, park hours, fees and park policies. Direct complaints to proper division manager, or assistant manager. Accountable for the appropriate collection of conservation fees. Exercises operation and maintenance of entrance gate booth and equipment. Receive and transmit radio communications with office and other park division staff.
