Through comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision, we equip children and families with the skills needed for a successful transition, either back to their home or to an alternative living arrangement.
The Child Care Therapy Aide establishes effective relationships with children living in residential programs to provide structure and routine and to assist with managing challenging behaviors. They function as part of a team as a teacher of life skills, planning and engaging children in meaningful group activities.
Responsibilities:
Model appropriate behavior and conflict resolution skills
Teach and coach residents in activities of daily living skills
Demonstrate problem solving and conflict resolution skills in both organizational and interpersonal matters
Maintain positive working relationships with program staff and others within agency
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills during interactions with internal and external customers
Support and communicate with supervisor and co-workers in a courteous and cooperative manner
Model and practice sensitivity, fair treatment and acceptance of diversity in all interpersonal interactions
Relate positively and professionally with families and residents
Follow pre-established treatment plans
Assist in the planning and implementation of age and developmentally appropriate programming through meaningful activities, recreational outings, etc. that are appropriate to the goal objectives and methods outlined in the treatment plan
Supervise and assist in transporting children as required
Monitor and help ensure a safe and secure environment for the children
Implement appropriate infection control procedures
Respond calmly and objectively in situations involving children with extreme/sustained behaviors
Transport residents to and from appointments and activities
Overnight staff are responsible for providing appropriate supervision, including bed checks, no more than 10 minutes apart
Utilize appropriate techniques of behavior management and crisis interventions as indicated in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention guidelines; implement strategies to address escalating behaviors; i.e. time-out, discussion, conflict resolution
Complete required paperwork and reports in a timely manner
Complies with all agency policies and procedures

Minimum Qualifications:

Experienced Female Live-in Companion needed (every other week)
We are helping a Erie PA Area family to privately hire an experienced live-in who is willing and able to assist their mother who is physically healthy, but has dementia. They are looking for a "fun" memory-care companion to keep her engaged in life an, having FUN, and outside activities. There will also be traditional live-in work, including housework, cooking, help with technology, driving, and general assistance around her home.
Interview by video. If you like each other, the family can contribute towards your transportation to get to them (drive or fly).
Position: Work every other week, 7 days on, 7 days off. Long term position.
Location: Cambridge Springs PA (45 mins from Eerie PA, 2 hours from Cleveland OH, 2 hours from Pittsburgh, and 2 hours from Buffalo NY)
Pay $2,100-$2,275 per WEEK depending on experience.
Requirements to apply
Need someone with a fun, outgoing personality and a great sense of humor.
1. Two or more strong references from previous, home-care clients, with at least one being from a live-in position. The references can not be from co-workers or supervisors. They must be from the family themselves.
2. Have a reliable car and willing to use it to drive the client around in.
3. 3+ years of verifiable memory-care experience.
4. Willing to be drug tested and background checked.
5. Have the technological means to do a Zoom video interview (laptop, computer, or smartphone)
6. Must be a US resident currently living in the US, authorized to work for any employer.
Process:
1. Fill out an application. You will move on to the next stage if you meet the job requirements.
2. Pass a 6-question phone screening interview with us.
3. Submit 2+ live-in care references that we can verify. If your live-in references are both very strong, you will move on to the next stage.
4. Have a Zoom interview with the family's recruiter. They are working to find the top 3 candidates for our client to interview.
5. Directly interview the family via Zoom. This is your time to shine and to ask questions about their specific needs and desired live-in schedule.
6. If they choose you, you will get a written job offer to consider. If you accept, you will need to move in with them by the start date (usually 2 weeks after being hired)
We do not employ or co-employ any live-in. We are 3rd party recruiters that specialize in fulfilling long-term live-in positions with families. The family is the employer and pays you directly through a payroll service. All pay is on the books as a W2 employee. You negotiate all terms/schedules/duties/pay with the family, not us.

III. Marginal Responsibilities
Launder bedding, smocks, and classroom materials as needed.

Job DescriptionDescription:
Healthy Kids Programs is hiring staff for our Before and After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year.
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Childcare Program Staff
PAY: $16.00 per hour
HOURS: 7:00 - 8:45 am and 3:30 - 6:00 pm
The Before and After-School Program team is responsible for:
Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework assistance.
Providing a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
Reporting to the program ready to work at designated times and be prepared to stay until the last child leaves the program.
Communicating daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
Observing and following state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Requirements:
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.
