One (1) year of work experience in behavioral or healthcare work environment including direct patient care is preferred Work experience in substance abuse treatment facility is preferred Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire is required. Measures vital signs patients and monitors the health of patients. Assists patients with everyday needs. Communicates with nursing supervisors, nursing staff, and clinical staff regarding patients' treatment and status. Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely; completes paperwork requirements as needed in an accurate and timely manner. Transports patients as needed. Maintains a safe and sanitary environment applying infection control techniques and universal precautions. Maintains and demonstrates a current working knowledge of applicable medical procedures and nursing care based on company policy and State and Federal guidelines. Stay at the consumer's home for the time allotted in the care plan. Document work using our electronic visit verification tracking system, including service start and stop times and task descriptions. Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly per company policies. Attend and participate in required training, seminars, and continuing education programs. Maintain compliance with FCSR, OIG, and EDL to remain eligible for employment. Observe all policies and procedures, including safety, infection control, and consumer rights. Position requirements: Must have transportation and provide proof of vehicle insurance. Must be at least 18 years of age. One of the following qualifications is required: A minimum of six (6) months of paid experience in a caregiving role, such as Homemaker, Nurse Aide, or Household Worker. At least one year of paid or unpaid experience caring for children, elderly, or sick individuals. Successful completion of formal training in basic nursing arts, nursing assistant training, or home health aide training. Provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and empower consumers to maximize their independence. Maintain confidentiality of all protected health information, whether electronic, written, or verbal. Follow a weekly schedule provided by the supervisor. Stay at the consumer's home for the time allotted in the care plan. Document work using our electronic visit verification tracking system, including service start and stop times and task descriptions. Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly per company policies. Attend and participate in required training, seminars, and continuing education programs. Maintain compliance with FCSR, OIG, and EDL to remain eligible for employment. Observe all policies and procedures, including safety, infection control, and consumer rights. Position requirements: Must have transportation and provide proof of vehicle insurance. Must be at least 18 years of age. One of the following qualifications is required: A minimum of six (6) months of paid experience in a caregiving role, such as Homemaker, Nurse Aide, or Household Worker. At least one year of paid or unpaid experience caring for children, elderly, or sick individuals. Successful completion of formal training in basic nursing arts, nursing assistant training, or home health aide training.
