About the Client/Patient:
Early 70s. Struggles with mobility, essentially uses a walker full time. Mild memory issues, repeats himself often, experiencing a cognitive decline. Charming, charismatic, sweet. Needs help cleaning around the house. Struggles with incontinence, must be in diapers full time. Lives in an apartment in a retirement (55+) community.
Position Details
Location: Private residence in a senior community in West Houston, TX.
Client: Gentleman in his early 70s.
Schedule: Flexible, to be determined:
Two days per week, approximately 2-4 hours per shift.
Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour, based on experience.
Reporting: You will be employed by and report directly to the client's local daughter, with whom you will maintain regular and open communication.
Start Date: ASAP/December 2025
Primary Responsibilities
The Care Companion's main role is to provide non-medical support, companionship, and household assistance to help the client maintain a stable routine, social engagement, and an active lifestyle.
Companionship and Social Engagement
