Key Responsibilities:
Provide culturally competent, trauma-informed therapeutic services to students and families.
Offer crisis intervention and collaborate with school staff and other providers.
Participate in community meetings, team meetings, and quality improvement committees.

Ensure the safety and well-being of the youths in the shelter by following all ORR policies and procedures.
Assist in identifying victims of trafficking and children vulnerable to being trafficked.
Conducts comprehensive assessments using standardized measures as per standards set forth by Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)
Provides crisis management and ongoing therapeutic support.
Create Behavioral Plans, Individual Crisis Management Plans and Safety Plans as needed to provide ongoing support to youth and staff.
Schedule and facilitate the Entrance and Exit Meeting with all youths.
Completes paperwork in a timely manner, ensuring that the clinical records meet the requirements of standards set by ORR. Prepares for audits accordingly.
Ensure that all youths have a safe and appropriate discharge plan and that all mental health services are in place prior to discharge.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and protected information according to HIPAA standards.

Position Summary:
Center For Family Services is seeking a Full Time Overnight Residential Counselor for our Juntos Program located in Bridgewater, Somerset County, NJ. Juntos provides important services to unaccompanied minor children who immigrated into the United States. Services include; temporary shelter and support with family unification and home study and post release services. Family Reunification is the Juntos programs primary goal. The Overnight Residential Counselor will be responsible for assisting youth with their daily life skills, education, and chores in the program and providing a direct level of support and supervision. Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to;

Provides life skills education.

This position is responsible for the coordination and delivery of clinical behavioral health services designed to meet the wellness and recovery needs of consumers, including services provided to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability. Essential Functions:
Intake:
Preparation of intake evaluations and diagnostic assessments, specifically for consumers experiencing homelessness or housing instability.
Complete thorough assessments of mental health needs, risk factors, and housing barriers for consumers.
Clinical Services:
Provide individual, group, and family therapy to consumers with mental health challenges and housing instability, utilizing trauma-informed care.
Conduct psycho-educational groups, focusing on topics related to housing stability, mental health recovery, and navigating the housing system.
Collaborate with the clinical team, case managers, and housing specialists to address both mental health and housing needs of clients.
Consult with psychiatrists regarding program clients as needed for medication management and treatment coordination.
Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation in
Millennium
, the agency's electronic health record system, including intake evaluations, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, collateral contacts, and termination summaries.
Document all services provided in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with agency documentation standards and requirements.
Case Management:
Provide continuous communication and outreach to clients, including follow-up for hard-to-engage individuals, with a focus on maintaining housing stability.
Assist with navigating housing systems, including referrals to emergency shelters, permanent housing, and housing-first programs.
Act as a liaison to other agencies involved in the
1115 Waiver program,
ensuring seamless service integration and client advocacy.
Provide information and referrals to community resources, including support services for mental health, housing, employment, and social services.
Productivity:
Clinicians are expected to spend 65% of their time in face-to-face consumer contact, directly engaging with clients in therapy, case management, or housing support.
Participate in individual and peer supervision sessions, ensuring continuous professional development and clinical support.
Provide routine productivity reports to the Program Director, ensuring compliance with program targets.
Submit all schedules, statistical reports/logs, and clinical reports within prescribed timelines, ensuring adherence to program expectations and regulatory requirements.
Supervision:
Clinicians are required to participate in individual and peer supervision according to their program needs.
Treatment plans may need to be done in consultation with the program psychiatrist.
Other Duties:
Represent the agency at Multidisciplinary Team meetings related to housing and mental health services.
Participate in the Quality Improvement process and specific quality initiatives for the program.
Interface with medical, vocational, residential and other program resources as necessary.
Work as part of a team to provide services to consumers outside of primary caseload as needed.
Supervise interns fulfilling field work requirements as needed.
Utilize supervision and training as opportunities for enhancing professional competence.
Performs all duties in a professional and ethical manner consistent with agency, licensing, COA, and professional standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits:
All staff therapists are W-2 employees and are compensated on a fee-for-service basis. Current rates range from $35 to $63 per completed hour of service. Pre-licensed therapists typically start at $35/hour, while independently licensed clinicians earn up to $63/hour based on experience, license, and caseload.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package to full-time therapists (defined as those consistently scheduled for 30 hours per week), including partially employer-funded health insurance (Aetna), life insurance, employee-funded 401(k) with matching, vision coverage, FSA/HSA options, and voluntary short- and long-term disability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conducts diagnostic assessments and counseling, or treatment for clients referred by various sources.
Uses the current edition of criteria from the DSM-V to assess mental disorders.
Provides treatment in individual, couple, family or group therapy sessions depending on client need.
Has adequate awareness and knowledge of medications used to treat mental health conditions.
Completes necessary case record paperwork according to department, State, Federal and carrier procedures.
Performs regular contact with PCP's and referral sources as needed and as authorized by clients.
Participates in relevant Agency meetings and ongoing development of professional knowledge and skills through individual and group supervision.
Informs supervisor of significant events/issues related to clients as appropriate, and follows program's defined incident reporting process as required.
Maintains and develops clinical and professional knowledge by completing recommended education and training, workshops, conference attendance, and readings.
Supports quality improvement efforts, including but not limited to satisfaction surveys, accurate reporting of and use of outcome data, and use of selected quality monitoring instruments.
Carries a caseload according to department standards.
Completes all statistics, written reports and billing forms in a thorough and timely fashion.
Delivers training sessions, as qualified and requested by supervisor.
Adhere to policies and procedures established by The Artemis Center for Guidance, LLC.
Other responsibilities as requested by supervisor.
Experience: Minimum one year of supervised clinical experience; internship experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Compensation and Benefits:
All staff therapists are W-2 employees and are compensated on a fee-for-service basis. Current rates range from $35 to $63 per completed hour of service. Pre-licensed therapists typically start at $35/hour, while independently licensed clinicians earn up to $63/hour based on experience, license, and caseload.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package to full-time therapists (defined as those consistently scheduled for 30 hours per week), including partially employer-funded health insurance (Aetna), life insurance, employee-funded 401(k) with matching, vision coverage, FSA/HSA options, and voluntary short- and long-term disability.
